False awakenings?? or OBEs or both

I actually just had something similar to that happen to me today (and I've had it happen before).  I was taking a nap, and the vibrations came, and trying to force myself out wasn't working, so I just decided to wait.  I remember getting out, and I met some girl (though I don't know if she was an astral being, or just a figment of my imagination), and then I woke up.  I decided I should write my experience down before I forgot it, so I picked up my laptop and started writing down what I could remember.  Well, as this was happening, I realized that my room looked really weird.  My bed and my laptop were the only things that looked the same... one wall was made up of a tall chain link fence with barb-wire on the top of it, and then the wall where my door was just .. nothingness.  So then I woke up from THIS dream, or whatever it was, and then the vibrations came back.  So I'm not quite sure what to make of it... I think maybe I got out, and then had a lucid dream afterwards.  For some reason, though, I think the girl I met wasn't a dream, because she told me her name, and I can't remember anybody in my dreams ever having a name before.

I think maybe the reason for this is because while I was waiting for the vibrations to stop, I must've fallen into a kind of half-sleep, had a dream, then woken back up to the vibrations.. or something.  Oh yeah, and I don't even remember what it was that I was trying to write down in my dream.  Probably something really important that I'll never remember now []

very interesting Mustardseed..yes..I have had similar experiences."Woke up" and found myself in childhood home..totally aware i was OBEing and then I phased out of this and "wrote it all down in my OBE?Dream Diary" and then "realy" woke up..false awakening..fasciating stuff and interestingly enough I often have several nights in a row when i experience this....

I've also experienced a few false awakenings, or the double awakenings..I dream (of having an OBE???)then I dream that I come back to my body and find myself laying in my bed, and then I wake up for good, and find myself laying in bed, the same way I just dreamt minutes ago.
What is the explanation for this, does anybody know???

You could have the exit symptoms with your etheric double and at teh same time experience in your dream body in F22 where your immediate environment represent a personal part of the astral.

This is very common if you lay in the position of your physical body in your dream and intent the reintegration or mimic an OBE attempti. Basically, fase awakenings do the same: reinizaling REM-sleep by getting the "twin position."

Well lets just imagine that Roberts theory is correct, we would then be already in a dream state/astral inviroment and our 3 etheric body would be doing the "exit". Is that correct?. If so, it is all the same and if the down load is functional, and the shadow memmory is remembered it would for all intents and purposes be a "real" OBE. My question is this. Does this type of OBE set a "grove", so to speak making the 1st etheric body harder to activate, and does it after a time become a habit, or does the experiences help towards becoming more adept at mastering the consious exit, or is it just a dream and are the exit symptoms "fake" and not is sequence, so that this type of OBE works against you instead of for you?? Anyone....Frank?

Recently I have had a couple of very interesting experiences. In this "dream" I actually have all the exit symptoms, and do an exit to the RTZ and on to a astral plane. I will spare you the actual experience. The interesting thing is that after I return to my body and wake up, I realise I did the exit in my dream. I was in a room I did not know, in two cases in a bedroom from my childhood, and a cat I saw in the exit was not present at the return. I have had some where I wake up, and explain to my dad (who is dead) about the trip and go back to sleep only to exit again and reenter my body somewhere else. Are these "real" exits or are they "dreams" they have all the feel of lucidity but my hands melt and become elongated, and the vibrations are there as well. Did anyone experience anything like that?
