Tvos,

I think by trying to only sit on the wooden spool to observe is an interesting concept.  Do you wish to journal these experiences and or are you trying for control over the projection?  For documentation and verifying purposes?

Have you considered taking a nap and having another person within the house doing something in particular while you attempt at projection?

fliesatnite,

awhile back you might have seen the topic I posted "Rush" and I thought to myself that every time I project its always run,run,run and keep pushing on and try to stay far away from the body blah blah blah..

My biggest goal is to monitor the environment, changes, events and try not to interact by mostly as a observer. Yes, definitely I want more control, patience, and just to be able to relax w/o the constant go go go.
I think by doing this will lead into longer, controlled and discipline with future experiences.

I was half successful the other day when I broke my dry spell. I was able to remember what I wanted to do and that was to sit on the grass. When I floated over the grass I landed in a awkward position but could feel the peace, solace of just being still. I might have had about 30 seconds of that and there were two girls (very attractive) walking a dog (danger will robinson). I am actually happy yo report I wasn't seduced by the dark side of desire but levitated the dog in the air and brought down to safety.

The key elements that I was able to achieve was:

* Control from desire
* Patience
* Remaining still in the grass
* Monitoring the astral for 30 seconds
* Intent

I am hoping that I can be less distracted and keep my focus longer on intent.
