Oh my... this might be it.  The current time here now is Feb 18th 1:30 p.m. ... the current time in Pusan Korea which is close to Taegu is Feb 19th 6:30 a.m.  So, they are 17 hours ahead of my time here in Seattle.  According to other news sources the accident started and lasted between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tuesday their time.  That would be between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Monday my time which falls within the time frame I felt the "wave" effect and a sudden dread that something bad had happened.  I wonder if the wave was the emotional ripples of the individuals who were finding out about their dead family members?  What a tragedy.  This is such a sad story.  My heart and prayers go out to those people.  What a terrible way to die and to lose a family member.

I dunno Chris, consider that lots of people get killed in horrific and nasty ways every minute of the day around the world, sometimes in significant numbers. its unlikely that you'll pick up these deaths in South Korea which is only significant compared to all the othrs in that its been televised.
But then again, perhaps your attuned to that part of the world for some reason!

Actually, accidents of this concentration do not happen every minute of the day although individuals around the world do die every minute of the day. When they happen in these proportions or concentrations they are usually reported on now days. It's possible I keyed into this one in particular since I had just finished doing my meditation a couple hours earlier I might have been in a particularly sensitive mode.  Additionally, my fiance is first generation south Korean... so I hope none of her family were involved.  Let me stress that this was not just some ho hum maybe something happened somewhere.  I literally felt the room sway and was overcome by feelings that something terrible had just happened.  It was not a light event.  It prompted me to say outloud while watching T.V., "Angie, I think something bad just happened, like a bunch of people just died.", and then I described what just happened. It was so strong that it either was a stroke or momentary chemical inbalance of some sort, or I was indeed experiencing some sort of emotional shock wave.  It was not a light event.  Either way, it was strange and I certainly hope it wasn't a chemical imbalance... might need some more vitamin c?

I think this is your connection to that part of the world.

At approximately around 9:50 p.m. pacific standard time I was watching T.V. with my girlfriend and suddenly felt a wave of ... well... something hit me.  It literally made my vision shimmer and wave... it was strange.  I immediately felt like something very bad had happened somewhere... sort of like a "disturbance in the force" like in star wars.  Now, either something fairly significantly bad did happen around that time or something went weird chemically in my own head.  So, just wanted to post it to see if anyone else felt anything or heard of any news.  So far I haven't seen anything on the news that might explain it.  I'm also hoping it wasn't something family related.  Anyway, there it is.
