reach vibrations, but can't seem to get any further that that.

hi there i am new to astral projection, i am trying the technique with the rope, i calm down get my brain clear, when i am not thinking of anything i start feeling the imaginary rope and then start climbing it with my imaginary hands, after a few minutes a get heavy vibrations, but its also as if it pulls up my whole body, i lie down and when i start i find my self sitting up, like the vibrations are pulling me up. i do ignore the vibrations,and then try and tell myself to get out,like imagine what it would be like to fly or to watch myself sleep. no success,i don't get out, then i just stop after that my arms are numb,sore like i really did climb a rope,and my hands and feet tingle.
please help. :?

It sounds like it's working.  You're supposed to feel like it's pulling you up.  That's the whole point of the exercise.  To pop yourself out of your body.

Once again, this is what is supposed to happen.  You're supposed to keep pulling until you find yourself floating, and then get away.

I don't understand this.  YOu're not supposed to see yourself do anything, that puts you right back in your body looking at your expanded energy.  This is the opposite of what you want.  AP is not watching something else do something else, it's about you going up and out.

These are signs that you stopped just as it was working.  When you're at that point you have to keep doing the same thing until you feel yourself propelled out.

If you are too exhausted to continue (something that is expected if you didn't relax properly or trance deeply enough before reaching the exit technique) you need to do more relaxation and some energy body loosening before you even start to try the exit- try to do energy body loosening before getting sensations such as vibrations, and then start on your exit.  And once you're commited to the exit, you can't stop until you either find yourself out or pass out unconscious.
