Hello guys, i just would like to know what are the basic steps to OBE?

Do i first start with the NEW energy ways?

Well, there's a question!

It differs for everyone I suppose, but I can recommend Robert Bruce's Tutorials which can be found on the main web page www.astraldynamics.com

The Treatise on Astral Projection is particularly informative.

Personally speaking, my first OBE came about via a lucid dream.  If you do a search for lucid dreaming, you'll find a treasure chest of information about it!

Buy a book. You'll be HOOKED! My favorite is Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics.
