Have I exited or do I have more work to do?

I run into a situation fairly often and I was hoping someone had some insight on where I am at in the process when this occurs. I can either relax into or I wake up feeling the vibrations. Not usually overly intense. Have no problem relaxing through the process. I then snap into a state in which everything is very silent. I often think of the "click" people describe although it is a click in awareness rather than a physical click that I hear. I feel hyper aware in my head and do not really have a sense of my body. I do have some awareness though. Will move my mouth a little if it is dry but neck down nothing.

Usually at this point I can feel my arms and legs floating "within my body" but I cannot perform an exit. I feel a floating sensation and can even rotate the sensation some but have never even partially exited from this state. My eyes are closed and I cannot see either. This is usually ended by me decided that I have had enough for the session and decide to wake up at which point my muscles tense up and I kind of go into an automatic full body stretch until I come out of the trance.

I guess my question is...have I exited and am I just stuck in my body at this point? Or is this a stage on the way to an exit? My thinking and perception while in the trance is so clear. Like I previously said almost hyper aware. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Just as an added piece of information I had my first OBE a few nights ago after working through the MAP system for 1.5 weeks.  I did not experience the state I described above.  Just reached up and I floated out.   The night after is when I found my body back in this state that I described above. I have found myself in the above described state many times before I started working through the MAP program but was never able to push past that point.

Thank you for any input you can provide!

My suggestion is to change your perception of the AP process. The entire you (spirit) are not located in a shell (your body) from which you have to get out. This physical existence is more like a part of your spirit being temporary focused here through your body, but you are not in it the way you think. Have you seen the movie Avatar? It's more like that. Your awareness gets oriented some place else and it starts observing it. In the denser realities like this one, you would need a vehicle through which to focus and observe. But AP is a matter of your consciousness to refocus. Your spirit observes many realities simultaneously at this very moment. You are already there, you just need to shift your focus to wherever place you wish. So, instead of trying to lift your spirit out of your physical body, start focusing your attention to some place else. Imagine and visualize right as you fall asleep every night that you are walking on a beach for example, feel the sand, touch the water, etc. Complete transfer your awareness. This exercise will start shifting your focus slowly and in a while you will start having many lucid dreams from which you can easily take control, because dreams take place in the astral. Or you will be awaken in the middle of the night like it happens often to me with very strong vibes. When that happens, don't try to get out, just think that you are standing next to the door for example and you will find your astral self there. All you have to do is use your thoughts.

That sounds like an awesome exercise...thank you i never thought about shifting my awareness that way..i was always too focused in this reality XD

Along the same concept  if your focus turns inward going deeper within it gets very interesting. Do as mentioned above but the elsewhere be deeper within you rather than outside of you.

Thank you.  I really appreciate it. I will work with that and see if I can make some progress.  Usually this state comes from a deep trance generated from a wakeful state.  The one thing I have been unsure of is if I am even in the "Right Spot" with where I have been stuck at.  My doubt and one of the reasons for reaching out is when I actually did exit a few nights ago it was from a completely different place.  There I was asleep, woke up and worked into an exit from there.  The feeling was completely different.  I will continue to work on it and hopefully get better as I go.  Thank you once again.  Very helpful.

I like what both LightBeam and BFP have suggested for you to consider. The 'click' is a great indicator a shift has happened.

I would also suggest these ideas:

1 -You are caught slightly between methods of exit (and that is normal): Phasing directly and the traditional thinking of a semi-physical, etheric exit. My thought is that you should add some affirmations along either path to reinforce your confidence of achieving an exit. These are simple, positive statements that indicate your desire to transition (however) into the next dimension. That might give you the final push you need, because you are very close.

LB and BFP are telling you the same thing in slightly differing ways: your consciousness needs to accept that your focus is always accessible from different perspectives. The trick is keeping up with the shift! I'm just trying to explain it in slightly different words.

Affirmations may help this, but the key is being open and aware enough to adjusting your perception as the shift occurs.

Jeez, I even need to think about that for awhile...lol
