So after reading Frank Kepple talk about the third eye so much. I have been trying to get consciousness away from my physical eyes while focusing on the third eye. I usually end up having my eyes start to flutter strongly and rapidly. While even feeling some pressure on my head chakras to varying degrees. And I see vivid images or mini clips here and there. I also tend to get vibrations too with it often. I guess my only concern is that perhaps I am putting too much effort into it. Then again I tend to stop and do other things which seem to have an enhancing effect from the previous third eye exercise. I mainly wonder since I hear new age type people talk about being very very gentle with the chakras. Meaning I don't want to inadvertently hinder myself.
Is this normal? Should I stop doing it and focus more on noticing?
For today I reached this point where I felt really open mentally and energetic wise. But still no AP yet.
Thoughts please?

It's normal. Stretch your eyes out best you can before you begin to practice. Circle them around as far as you can, then give them a GENTLE rub. That should help with the fluttering.
If they begin to flutter, you can try stretching them out again.

It's common, get one of those blackout eye masks. It sorts the problem of them opening and ruining the attempt.
Chakras etc, I've had decades of experiences not knowing about them. If you believe you need to charge em up or something similar, you're adding more complications to the experience.
Let go of your physical life when deep in the phase, everything to do with having a body needs to be out of your mind. Its simply you as a point of consciousness in the dark and then things start to work. These clips you see are the minidreams I refer to in the thread the astral blueprint.
They're also the final stages before you join the scene.
You're close to exit.
Let it happen without adding any extra requirements you've read about.
i had to throw a towel over my face for awhile because of jumpy eyelids. As your focus goes off physical it gets better. The itchy eyelids are worse for me.

It's totally normal, do a research on google about REM (Rapid Eye Movements). It's a normal symptom of the body falling asleep. It means you're deep within yourself and your body fell asleep while you still are awake. Sometimes you can hear yourself snoring too and it feels as if it was someone else because you are disconnected from your body senses. You really are close those are the same mini-dreams I told you about too! Just keep watching them when they happen, practice having them the more you can and it's right after this stage that you phase!! I never phased in an image I was seeing in my inner vision up until now, but you are gonna phase somewhere for sure if you keep on like that! You just gotta let go a little more and stay conscient. Go a little more towards sleep when having the mini dreams and you will phase!
