You mean you CAN burn those holosync and hemisync CD's?  I thought they'd have the same anti-theft program on them that some of my video games would have.  But if it's available on a place like Grokster or bearshare, then I guess you can.  Does anyone know?

I havent tried to burn them, but anti-burn protection is only for cds. You cant do it to a file. They screw up the cds hardware sector format so the copy doesnt work, but a file is pure data and they cant stop you from copying it.

I've got a few hemisync files downloaded... about 20 I think... I don't know...  Just put on a few to download while I was watching a DVD on the compy and let em go...

Yea, the RIAA is watching alot of sites, but here's the problem on their end...

There are 200,000,000+ users just on KaZaA.  There are maybe 1,000 subpeona'd so far.  That leaves 199,990,000.  1 in 199,990,000 is good odds to me.

Besides, according to articles, they go after main downloaders who also upload files.  Just click off the "share with other users" box and you'll be fine [:)]

And if they sue me, I'm a minor...  Whoooo!

Squeek your math sucks. 1000 out of 200mil is a 1 in 200k chance.

You sure...?  Crap...  I aced Algebra II last year, but I didn't take a Math this year...simply because I didn't have to... now that I see your way, I see my mistake.  Sorry bout that [:P]

Oh well.  I could care less, because the RIAA can sue me all they want.

By the way, they sue by IP, and a new version of Kazaa-Lite sees the IP they use and blocks them from seeing you [8)]

Well they have ways of getting around those things, if we used we would get sued.
Stupid laws.

How's the quality of the free mp3's.  Does it mess up the quality of the sound once you change it to mp3 format?

Buddhatop, your question is very good.

MP3/WMA/RealAudio compression indeed messes with the quality of the sound, and in so doing deteriorates, up to an uncertain degree, the effect.

Since those compression schemes particularly compress very low frequencies, and low frequencies are best to create the binaural effect, it is safe to assume that the overall value of the recording is greatly diminished.

Anyway, I guess it is still a nice way of testing them out. I personnaly own (bought) the first Centerpointe CD, and have had great experience with it.

Have fun with your experimentation.

Binaural beats are just the beginning of brain-wave manipulation/entrainment.

They are also extremely inefficient.

The Scientist who pioneered it, Gerald Oster, even said so.

Stick to products that use 'bands' of techniques rather than singular.

You can download the trial-version of the Neuro-Programmer and download the few free sessions it provides.

Wow, they use the Mac OS X graphical effects and style but don't make a Mac version. Posers.

What's your success with that program been like, BB?

Phong,

It's the only product out there that I'd endorse if I could [:D]

That should answer your question on my experience with it. It is richly filled with techniques that supplement binaural beats.

Their also coming out with products that will supposedly trance you right into a OBE...obviously that's saying A LOT, but from my knowledge of the programmer, he never exagerates...so I'm pretty excited with whatever he designs.
