Visiting my mothers deceased sister & travelling 'the grid'

It was a totally unexpected experience, and it really made me think. I was on a family vacation at a caravan park - the night before I was up late and went down to sleep at around 10PM, but was woken up during the night from many various disturbances. The night was restless and I didn't get much sleep and was awoken at an early hour of the morning. My parents were awake and out of there bed, and I ended up falling to sleep in their bed. First, I laid there and watched my thoughts as they drifted by like a cloud, before I knew it I was asleep.

Not not after, I felt my left arm tingling with pins and needles - a prickly sensation and suddenly, the feeling of it tickled my waist; it was rather uncomfortable and almost unbearable. I focused the sensation all over the body and before I knew it, I thought I had to exit. I imagined an elevator taking off, and as soon as I thought that, I sprung from my body watching the room from a bird eyes view grow smaller and smaller. I was looking down at it, but it was as if it was a center point in a black and white grid. The room was a white dot or light, and surrounding it was blackness and white lines set out like a grid.

I then began to fall at an incredible speed back into the room before landing beside the bed. I saw the door slightly open and so I floated towards the door. The sensation of floating is if you were in a pool, and you'd feel as if you would float to the ceiling and get stuck. I managed to escape out the door and fly into the living room of the cabin were my Mother and sister sat at the table - I was in locale II. I looked out onto the balcony, and strangely was my Mother again. She sat on the chair and looked at me - it was as if she was cloned.

I soon lost awareness and drifted back into a deep sleep before waking up after and remembering what I could. I sat, laying there trying to analyse what just happened - what I had experienced. Frankly, I was quite overwhelmed by the whole thing. I tried to wonder why I saw a clone of my mother, and the only explanation I could get from it was it might of been her sister. My mother has a older sister and brother, from a different father but the same mother. I had the feeling that with my mothers father, they might of tried to have another child but it was killed in the process. I later asked my mother and she could confirm that her mother was going to have a baby after the birth of my mother - and it was terminated before it was born. The other women I saw that looked like my mother was probably infact, my mothers dead sister that never made it.

A powerful experience.

That is interesting. I have had experiences with the geometric depictions too (and one very recently), and they often contain especially potent content. Perhaps the geometry is a precursor marker.

I am not certain myself what it means. I am torn between attributing the geometry to hypnogaugic sensations or to especially higher realms.

That was also particularly clever thinking on your part to come up with such a plausible explanation of who the "clone" might have been.

After doing some following research on 'the grid' I found that Robert Bruce actually explains the concept of it which was startlingly accurate to my experience. I'm not sure if any of you have read his book, 'Astral Dynamics' which is quite popular.

QuoteThe surface of an astral plane is two-dimensional and covered with perfectly straight horizontal and vertical grid lines. This makes for a uniform checkered appearance over the entire surface. Each square on a surface contains a brilliantly multicolored geometric design, repeated endlessly in every other square. The surface of each astral plane has its own unique pattern, completely different from that of any other astral plane's surface pattern.

Each astral plane appears two-dimensional when its surface is approached.

However, a fully three-dimensional environment is experienced when this is penetrated.

I am not sure I agree with that interpretation, and I think he might have taken the word "plane" a bit too literally lol. I tend to imagine that environment as being "formless" insofar as it has no necessity to be forced into one shape or another. I can't think of a good reason why it would have a grid imposed on it, but who knows I guess.

I wish I could remember where I read a whole explanation of the grid phenomenon- not even sure if it was on this forum.  At the time I read it I was kind of amazed at the amount of thought energy that had been given to the reason for the lines themselves.  Something to do with the construction of reality or something.  If I find a link to it I'll come back and post it.
I personally have never seen grid lines, but I have seen scenes (environments in which I'm in) turn into some sort of artificial scene, sometimes with demarcating lines, sometimes with actual walls in between scenarios.  I've always wondered what that's about.
Why?

I too have read this. I was also reading Franks compiled posts at the same time.
Occasionally I see a flash of a grid pattern while physical. It never lasts but it seems to be a precursor to an adventure or me recieving some data from the matrix.

Interesting experience you had. It's been a very long time since I've been free in the RTZ.
I usually phase into an experience directly, or fall asleep trying lol.
