Need tips on staying awake

I have successfully APed a few times in the past few months. Never anything profound, just slipping out and walking around the house. And they never seem to last very long but when I can do it once I can usually slip out several times during one night.

But lately I haven't been getting anywhere. I used to have problems sleeping. But ever since trying to AP I fall asleep so easy. I'm happy I've found a way to fall asleep without laying in bed for hours tossing and turning but it's becoming a bit frustrating when trying to AP.
Any tips would be appreciated. XD

Hm. It's suppose to say "a bit frustr ating when trying to AP." Not sure how that got changed to bonking. hehe =]

Something is going wrong with the server i assume, it's not just happening to you. A tip on projecting, try it in the morning.

HA!  That was my fault.

Sorry for the inconvenience.  I was trying to catch something specific in the word filter.  :)

To echo astraladdict, try times of the day when you're not tired.

Or you might try projecting somewhere other than your bed. A comfy chair or recliner.

 Don't practice in bed. We have conditioned our minds that bed is where we sleep. Try to project in a comfortable chair or on the floor.

That's my issue... I'll fall asleep whenever I start to get relaxed despite how much I try not to. I don't think I have very good control.

Sometimes it's good to fall into a light sleep, that way so you get your attention away from your physical body. As long as you can come back than you're okay.
