Hi guys, i started to try obe few weeks ago. All the times i felt that i was geting closer, but all the time i was really nervous. One time (4 days ago) i tryed to get an obe. Someone from my family whas watching tv downstairs, but i didnt mind becouse i get sleepy by hearing not load tv. So then something was really happening, i started to felt like some force was pulling my out of a body, not like floating under water, but some huge force that was pulling my out. I was with closed eyes, but it felt like i was 20cm in air. I couldnt get any farther, becouse some force wasnt letting my go further. it felt like 2 ropes was pulling my into different directions. My heart started beating fast, i was scared. Then my right leg felt like it was heating up, with going electricity in it. After 1mins it ended, i think becouse of my distraction.
After that 2 days in a row when im trying to get obe i always slept. That could by a good thing becouse i relax and dont worry, but what should i do to not sleep?
P.S. was that expirience obe starting?
Hi Delfi,
The electricity in your leg sounds like the vibrations starting. You need to stay calm and try to make it stronger. You should keep trying the same thing you did and have a read of this site. Lots of information on exit techniques, understand them and try one that sounds easy.
Welcome to the pulse.
Yes that was the start of an obe if I ever did hear one! you are getting very close you just need to keep trying and don't be scared about the obe process. Also welcome to the astralpulse forum hope to be seeing more of your posts in the future.
Ok, so still, after that night i've got new problem, now half times before trying to obe before sleep i start sleeping(that could by a good thing becouse i really relax, im not afraid anymore, but still that is too much relaxation), what would you suggect my to not sleep? I heard that mornings is good for that, but it's harder for my to get into that stage when im not tyred. I heard that milk is helpful for sleeping, maiby i should try to drink it at morning? Or would coffe help before going to sleep?
Try it in the afternoon, after a big lunch...or after good whole-body exercise (I have an elliptical trainer that's great for both the legs and arms). I've never had much success at night, occasionally at about 3am or so if I wake up for a while first--you could try setting an alarm, getting up for a quick walk about/go to the toilet, then try. The dark can be a bit unsettling at first, so you could try it with a light on but with a t-shirt rolled up and wrapped around your eyes (I did that for years--it also helps if your eyes often feel like they want to open, the blindfold holds them shut!)
Other than that...keep trying. It took me months, nearly a year...but that time allowed me to get familiar with deeper and deeper states of relaxation (e.g. hearing myself snore on the 'outside' but being perfectly awake.)
ok, then i got another question. to lay on the bed in that position (on back) is whery uncomfortable, all the time in my life when im trying to sleep, i try to do on my sides, i ussually really move much. When i have to by still on the obe possition(on back) its quit hard to by still, my legs and hand fingers start to twingle, ussually my bouth legs starts to hurt, so sometimes i want to move, i disstrackt with that ussually, what would you suggect my that i would fully relax and stay still without any twingles or something like that?
