GNOSTIC WEB COURSES... Bad idea? Good Idea?

I know there has been alot of discussions on this and i've searched a couple of them...

But has anyone here personally had a bad experience with learning the shiz they teach you..

I've signed up for the next course in october...

and ive read in some posts saying that a friends friend and so and so has had bad shiz happen with the mantras and what not that they teach you..

But those could just be rumors... basically what i'm getting to is

HAS ANYONE PERSONALLY HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH GNOSTIC WEB?

Their basic course is OK.  It teaches the basics and doesnt go to far into the more mystical realm of things.  I dont like the teachers and I dont care for the atmosphere of the place.... a swarm of newbies waiting to be sheeped along by who know what group of people over the net... but it teaches the basics.  As long as you realize whats crap and what isnt and keep a level head its worth a try.

I did the courses at mysticweb many years ago, when i was pretty young say 16/17. I must say it wasnt till i got a little older that i realised the whole thing was incredibly cultish. I remember them saying you shouldn't discuss your experiences with anyone or else you would stop having experiences etc. The methods they taught where basic stuff like visualisation and focusing on breathing and heartbeats.
Im my opinion i think your definatly best hanging around here and reading first hand experiences from relaxed people who seem to have their heads screwed on properly.

yea i signed up for the courese jsut to see if they had any good techniques that they werent sharing lol starts soon i guess, they are assholes on teh forum though and dont let ppl discuss their own techniques. by the way, who the f calls themself belzebuub? I ask you!

I think pretty much all the most effective techniques can be found on the internet. The only reason I would do one of those courses would be the support... then again you can just ask anyone on here your query and 9 times out of 10 you will get the answer you wanted.

So if your only doing the course for the techniques that haven't got out then chances are you have to sign a contract or something saying you won't give them out... then again maybe not
