Title: Has anyone tried that? It works!
Post by: Graupel on November 04, 2003, 13:16:25
I'm a bit skeptical at things such as this; however, I have an open mind about paying for a delta/theta/etc. sound wave thingy.

Has anyone had experience with that?  Is it basically a binaural sound thing?

Just a word of caution.  Beware of anything that guarantees an OBE, especially something that charges money for it.  Sites like that usually prey on impatient newbies who think there is a "magic" way to achieve this state.

I personally wouldn't pay for any biarual sounds when you can use BWGen for free.

I think its an interesting concept that I want to test out, but I'm not going to shell out money for it. Damn capitalism. Does anyone know what notes on the scale those frequencies translate to?

quote:
Between the conducting terrestrial surface and the ionosphere, a resonating cavity is formed. Broadband electromagnetic impulses fill this cavity and create the Schumann resonance. The frequencies are generally consistent at the following harmonics:

7.8 Hz, 14 Hz, 20 Hz, 26Hz, 33 Hz, 39 Hz and 45 Hz

I might be able to overdrive my synthisizer and reach those pitches. It comes out really crappy though.

Tried a few audio techniques myself, many times.  To date, I have had zero success with them.

I have to admit that the minute someone tries to charge for something that could conceivably change the face of human spirituality in eight minutes I feel strongly pessimistic.

I also have to admit that I also feel strongly curious.  Damn that human curiosity.

Check your pm!

Relax and listen to it using headphones not more than 15 minutes.
You should see effects in some minytes.

Ok two things really quickly.

If you remove all downloaded content from for example "my shared folder" then whoever is searchign your system is doing so illegially and you can't be charged.  If it's in a folder that you have authorized to share from then you are screwed, cut and paste it's no big deal.  I'm pretty sure this is legit.  Secondly, I've tried BWgen with no success in OBE's, sure a few cool tingles and it does make me relaxed, however I would love to try out anything that actually makes you OBE, I've been trying for just over two months and I've had a few tastes of success but lately I've gotten nothing, a kick would be awesome.  And where id the link to the free stuff? Post it in BIG BOLD LETTERS please.

Be well,
J

Why don't you post the link, that way the impatient people don't have to wait for you to get back on to hear it... [:)] Also you could put it in the downloads.  I like some of the one that are already there.

There are two signals:
(format: carrier_freq/binaural_freq@time interval)

120/20@0 -> 100/7@10-20

The other one is

75/3.5@8-20 with increasing volume from 0 to 100% over the time interval.

Background: Faint pink noise
Sound quality: poor

Not too different from any of the other stuff out there; may work for some and may not work for others, as usual.

Definitely not worth any money.

The OOBE wav is really useful for getting relaxed an in a trance. I used it while taking a 20 minute nap, I woke up feeling like I had slept for two hours! I used it again before I went to bed, getting into a really deep trance state, almost completely paralyzed. I tried it again at 4:00 am (though I noticed something really odd, I woke up almost instantly without feeling tired.) No OOBE, but I got about 7.5 hours of sleep, and I feel great. I usually need 9-10 hours to feel this awake.

Do you think it's a good idea to use 'machines' or external means to have oobes? I'm trying to develop the abilities of my mind/spirit by doing it myself. My opinion is that the more we use things like this, the more dependent we become on external gadgets as opposed to becoming more "in-control" of natural things like oobes, awareness 'levels', brain frequencies etc.

Yea if you always used a decice to asist with psionics, then you would probably get dependent on it. I ususally alternate a lot, I just use the sounds to get the feeling of a trance sometimes, or just to relax (as I said it refreshes you a lot).

I've noticed this too:
OOBE.WAV - Used in a resting situation, helps relax and recover sleep.
TELE.WAV - Used while semi active for 15-30 minutes, energizes you.
AJNA.WAV - Still need to try this long term but I would guess it would increase your awareness and ability to move your awareness.

Well in my opinion the use of what's available is a great thing to learn.  Think of it this way, once you get out once or twice from a machine or external gadget you'll learn the way the process is for you and will better your ability in doing it yourself.  It really depends though, let yourself get dependant and you will.  Only use it enough to learn about it and then from there do it yourself.

purelight I had no idea about winmx.
You had not felt nothing with it?

I felt something with both, and with most other binaural audio. The one you posted seems to force some of the vibrations, but they dont get big enough. The winmx astral mp3s get me more vibrations because I get into the music more.

Then i felt that my breathing change and my body become slowly paralyzed!
Them my eyes start to twitching and then i felt my body so light and losing the sense of it more and more..

Then i stoped cause i got scared!!!  All these on;y withimg 10 minutes [:O]

This one i don't know why it's so powerfull but it sure works for me and it does what it promise, to experience a shift of conciousnes in few minutes [xx(] [xx(]

Perhaps suggestions that don't use audio help may be more helpful as a whole.  I guess basically there is no sure thing, and most of us don't find success in an audio recording.  For the most part I don't think that if you are having trouble projecting, listening to a time will push you over that thresh-hold into success.  I don't deny that it works for some, but I gather it's on the same lines as hypnosis.  I have hypnotised more then a few people in my day, but cannot be hypnotised myself.  Some of you may think "anyone can be hypnotised"... but I assure you it's not the case.  Anyways, my point is that I've listened to a few audio tapes that are suppose to help with AP, and they are remarkebly similar to hypnosis.  The tone of voice is calm and consistent.  The suggestions are all meant to relax and put you into "that state".  And often it's a story type suggestion that draws you in untill your subconcious is influenced.  But such tapes have worked for one person that I know, and the exact same tape doesn't work for me.  Basically these quick fix tapes aren't for everyone because they don't work for everyone.  Not everyone can be hypnotised, and perhaps those same people don't succumb to the tapes that are intended to help with AP.  So while some may need a fast solution, others need advice on techniques that will help themselves discover what works for them individually.

Shouldn't be too hard, if you have experience in burning CDs. Simply open your favourite CD-burning tool (Nero for example) and select to make an audio CD. Then select the WAV-file for the 1st track (drag-and-drop, etc, whatever technique the software uses). Maybe you want to add something else to the disc as the file is merely 20 minutes long. Then hit Burn.

Ok there is one solution for this problem. I had problem too to burn it,play it or whatever.
Convert it to mp3.
If you had no program go here : http://www.unsekure.com.br/p800world/ REGISTER FIRST IT'S FREE and then after you register go here : http://www.unsekure.com.br/p800world/pcapps.html and download
this free software to convert it : dBpowerAMP & Codec (ogg - mp3 converter)
Simply instal both files and after right click the wav file and chose convert...to mp3.

Try it!

Yes it's for you and for those who can't burn it!
You don't need to have mobile P800.
This site it's for P800 but the program it has at download that i mention above it's for the pc and not for the P800.

Follow the instructions above and you will convert it!

I've already downloaded it/burnt it. I'll try it out later and let you know what I think.

I don't know for sure.
Someone else in another forum offer that.
He bought it first and he want to share it free becuase he saw effects imediately at obe after trying for many years.
He said how much it cost so i did a research at google com and i discove one with the same price he mention so it must be it.

I listened to the track the other night, and personally it didn't do much for me –as I expected. I'm not really a fair test subject though because I've had previous experience with low carrier frequencies (holosync) so I'm used to this level of stimuli, and crave something more powerful. (I'm in the process of saving up for the next holosync level).

While it's not for me, I certainly recommend people download the track and try it out for themselves. It couldn't guarantee an OBE just on its own, but I think that anyone new to this sort of technology would find it an effective trance induction tool.

That sounds alot like Deep Mind IV from the BWGen site presets lists. If that is from world of alternatives, im surprised people are acctually having some success with it, since most things purchased off websites are complete scams.

Congradulations to whomever made that soundfile. This is quite a turnover from ineffective BWGen or Mp3 audio files that are tied into inducing (a)vibrations; (b)deep theta-delta wave states; (c)projection.

There were immediate results within the first 5 - 10 seconds. It is an almost similar experience to being drugged up with sedatives. My eyes became heavy. My mind cleared. My head started sagging. I was starting to fall asleep. Therefore, I could not write the thoughtful post I intended.

The file caused my body to relax to such a degree that I have never experienced. It's hard to understand the sensation of paralysis until you have experienced it yourself. I found that I was able to attempt ROPE without my body reacting / tensing. Excellent progress, I thought! Now I'm getting somewhere.

But I didn't project. Nor did the audiofile give me the promised vibrations.

This has also caused me to reminisce on the idea that I will need more powerful / effective audio files if I am to use hemi-sync in the future. After all, if I'm still conscious, something is wrong.

I would like to try to use the download, if I can find it.  I am curious to find out how the sound works.

I know how binaural sound works:  play a sound that is 110 cycles per second in one ear, and play a sound that is 113 cycles per second in the other ear, and the two sides of the brain create a "ghost" sound of 3 cycles per second and the ghost sound should send you into Delta or Thets brainwave activity.

I don't know how sound might help you oobe, except to put you in a deep trance more easily.

so do you HAVE to use headphones? Because I don't have computer headphones and well.. I guess I could convert it to mp3 and put it on my mp3 player, but then it'll sound really lame becuase my mp3 player kind of sucks... and I don't feel like wasting a CD....

Best for me this far has been Ultra Meditation: http://www.mind-tek.com/ultra_meditation_system.html

I've had a few remote viewing like experiences, 'seeing' in total darkness when waking up / falling asleep, and focus 10 kind of state, when my body paralyzes but I stay awake.

Also one or two times I've felt this very strong trembling in the center of my body, it feels as if my heart is beating 1000 times per minute.. but it's something else, since when I check my pulse at the same time it's of normal frequency. Great experiences. And this is after using those 5 CDs daily for a bit over one month.

Unfortunately this OOBE.wav which this thread is about hasn't given me any effects, at least instantaneously.

I guess I'll give the file a try. I'd be an excellent test subject as I have never used this type of stimuli (or any other for that matter) in order to help project. I'll try it this weekend and report back later

Isn't anybody here nervous about the warnings regarding cardiac arrhythmia when using binaural recordings?  I downloaded the sample that has been linked to in this thread, but I'm hesitant to use it because I've always been kind of nervous about my heart (not that I've ever been diagnosed with anything).

On the other hand, I desperately want to project.  I'm torn! [:(]

I've never heard of such a thing. Care to give any sources?

Certainly.  The homepage for Brainwave Generator has an info page, and the warning is listed on it. http://www.bwgen.com/info.htm

Hi,

This OOBE product belongs to me. I am at admin@astral-projection.org and my name is Edward

Firstly the term "Guaranteed" is exactely what it sounds like. It is Guaranteed to work or a no questions asked total refund is given. I use clickbank who make their merchants honour a 90 day guarantee period which I am proud to do.

It has worked for a few people within the 8 minutes but in fairness can take up to 30 days if ever, hence THE GUARANTEE AND REFUND.

If any one wants to try the products for themselves I will halve the price for the Astral Projection and OOBE harmonics to $10.00. Please drop me an email if you wish to take the offer. We also have lot's of clients who go on to become affiliates to sell the product themselves they are so happy with it http://astral-projection.org/astral-projection-affiliates.htm.

Please address any concerns to me regarding the products and dont be scared to occassionally try something new.

TO THE MODERATOR _ Please kindly ask your member here to stop giving my product away to people for free as this is my one and only business and I need to feed my family like us all. I am an honest approachable man and like you all, hate being ripped off.

Kindest regards & God Bless and a merry Christams to you and your families.

You can by some nice (but cheap) headphones from eBay. I got a nice pair for under $20.00 though I suppose the more expensive ones work better.

I've been trying for two years to project. I've read several books and much of what is available on-line, including this forum. The other day I decided to pay for and download the following sound file:

http://www.witchcraftmagic.com/astralprojection.htm

I got immediate results. Very deep trance for the first week. Then, in week two I had my first OBE. I actually lifted right out of my body, about 7 or 8 feet. It only lasted a few seconds. I felt all the vibrations and it was so very cool. I was in a light dream state just prior and found myself using the rope technique when it happened.

I set the audio file (20 minutes) to continuous play and within an hour I begin to head into a light dream state. Two days after my first OBE I had another session with very strong vibrations, but no exit. The beauty of these experiences is that I now have a recognizable reference point to work from. I know what the right vibrational state feels like and can tell when in the process this is likely to occur.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is wanting to enhance their chances of having an OBE for the first time.

That site seems to have the same exact layout as the previous one mentioned in this thread. I have a feeling that they may both be referring to the same exact WAV file. Would you mind telling me the exact length of the file and also the size? Thanks

The length is 20.02 minutes and the file size is 8,226KB.

The filename was astralMP3.mp3

OK... after a little bit of investigation I believe that both sites actually do refer to the same file. The differences in file size and length are negligible and IMO can be attributed to the fact that one is in the WAV format and the other in MP3 format.

The original file named OOBE.wav is at this address                www.astral-projection.org

The second file named AstralMP3.mp3 is at this address
http://www.witchcraftmagic.com/astralprojection.htm

Both sites have the same layout and both have some of the SAME EXACT testimonials. If you don't mind Wizard can you quickly listen to both files and see if they are the same thing? I will send you a link with the first file by PM. The only thing thats a bit confusing is that the second one has 8 seconds more time,(19:54 vs 20:02) so are there any seconds of silence in the second MP3?

The 8 seconds of silence you hear is the sound of the credit card transaction going through while paying for the software!

LOL Well Im already pretty convinced that they are in fact the same file and I am also convinced that you are either the owner of both of those sites, or someone who profits from their sales. Ive seen many affialiate sites like this before.

the lowest i can find for a pair of earphones goes from 10 hz to 22 khz and from my understanding, some of htese tones go as low as 7.5 or lower?  then what the heck is the use if earphones won't play them?

Maybe get better ones? Mine go from 5 Hz - 30 kHz, but I never checked until now. Ive never heard anyone else talk about it so I figure it probably doesn't really matter.

I know there are other working links (after all where did I get it from[I think DukeLordxX]) however, I feel that this will be more user friendly. In order to download this file, you have to be patient because it may take several minutes to download. Here is the link to OOBE.wav:

Please read my next post for a more direct route

~~~~~|~~~~~-  http://media.putfile.com/OOBE1  -~~~~~|~~~~~
Once it is done you may find the wav file under Temporary Internet Files (for IE you may access this by the following way: Tools>Internet Options>Settings>View Files).
The site specifies that this link will be up indefinitely as long as at least one person visits the link every six months. That translates into an extremely long lived OOBE.wav. Enjoy.
That's too complicated. Just right click this and press "save target as":
Title: This is forbidden
Post by: Steven Maschmeyer on August 27, 2005, 10:30:23
It seems what you tried to do was not to their liking: "You tried to access a movie file directly (hotlink) rather than via our media page, this is forbidden. The ads on our media page help pay for the large costs of bandwidth used by media, your cooperation will help ensure the survival of the services provided by Putfile".
With that said, your method no longer seems to work.
Here is another link that will allow whoever to download OOBE.wav '' 'directly' instead of having to go into Temporary Internet Files:
--  OOBE.wav (http://pickup.mofile.com/en/pickupok.do?pickupcode=2282258160835089)  --
To download OOBE.wav, simply click on the link and select "Anonymous Download, Next>>" and then select "Click here to download."
I originally set up the link to be direct but the site does not seem allow that.
I am really sorry about all the confusion.
[Edit - If in Asian characters, try clicking English at the top right and then clicking on the link again (might not be entirely accurate as I have only experience this phenomenon once).]
