Questions about vibrations

I have been studying this since I joined and I've tried to project almost every other day. I have been successful 3 times but I can't remember how I did it. It might have just been a lucid dream though. I know that lucid dreaming = astral projection but one is conscious and the other is unconscious. I just need to clarify a few things.

The vibrations I have felt are not what people describe them to be. I feel like it's merely blood rushing through my body but even after I attempt to project I can still feel them. Maybe they are the vibrations i'm supposed to be feeling but I have no way of proving. Could someone maybe explain in more detail?

The other question is something that i've struggled with even before I stumbled upon AP. I have always gone to sleep frightened of this force that was overcoming me. It's not like a possession more like an energy. It's something I can't explain at all. The way I do it is through my mind and somehow when i've acquired more vibrations, it's easier to do. I can try to do it without vibrations but it doesn't work without them. I may sound like i'm talking gibberish but I would like someone else's opinion on what it might be.  Through AP i've noticed that the energy isn't dark after all. I feel like it's always been there trying to help me AP. It could be entirely something different though.

If someone could help that would be great.

Hi Tanner.  Where to begin.....

No.... a Lucid Dream is a projection into your subconscious, and you are conscious when you do it.  It's what separates it from a regular dream.
An astral projection is a projection, to what is known as the 'astral plane', which is a region that is not private, that is collectively formed.  A lucid dream is in the astral too, but usually a private 'area', while moving it into the collective makes it what most people agree is an astral projection.  An OBE is a projection to the etheric or RTZ, and done consciously.  It can be spontaneous, but usually you are aware of where you are, unlike a dream.

What you are describing sounds like energy sensations, and not separation vibrations.  Separation vibrations are more like bee-like buzzing, gentle swaying (like floating in the ocean) or even strobing/fast movement.

This may be what we call 'Dweller' symptoms.  It usually happens when your energy body has expanded out of your body (a partial etheric projection) but your conscious awareness is still located in the physical body, causing a feedback loop that can feel like energy, fear, and sometimes cause visual effects, like the hag or hooded figure (or anything else, really.)   Depending on how 'separated' you are, the fear can be visceral, but not always.

Thank you so much for all your help on the multiple questions. I still don't quite understand the last bit though. I don't think that I explained it well enough. There is no way I really can. I'm not saying your answer is wrong or anything, i'm just going to give you some more info behind it.

The first time I experienced it was the reason why I thought it was negative or "dark energy"

It normally happened as a kid when I would think of a horror movie or had a horrible image in my head before I went to sleep. The negative or "dark" energy or pulse seemed to overcome me and throw me into a nightmare which I couldn't get out of until I either died in dream or someone woke me.

Recently while projecting/lucid dreaming i've found that if I cling to this energy as it arises, it feels almost the exact same. I'm not sure if they are the exact same but they feel almost identical. When I do cling to it, however, I notice an increase in the energy flow/vibrations/swaying sensation but as I cling to it, I notice my eyes come towards my forehead and I stop breathing for a split second. It almost seems like I am trying so hard to induce it but then I end up reverting back to fast breathing before I end up giving up.

It's quite sad actually. :/

Thank you for the information you've already provided though! :D

I think you created your rundown from the emotional energy elicited by the initial stimulus- the horror movie.  Look up 'core images'- they can be created to project, and are used by some practitioners to go to specific places.
The energy is yours- which you channeled into this or that experience, or at least that's what it looks like to me.

It's interesting to me that you have such sensations... I am repeatedly reading your post to try and understand what you're feeling. For me the vibrations sound like a pulse of electricity (I feel it in my head and hear it), repeating and lengthening as I meditate. I'm not sure if I have much to say about this, but I am really interested in the sensations other people get, especially when they are described and I cannot relate... everyone is so unique, and I think it's great we can connect on this level. If I can't relate, there is definitely something I should learn from you. and CFTraveler who seems very in touch and informative. I haven't been here long, obviously... but i'm loving these threads!! So much! Geez, my Astral Energy is only 1.... I thought it would have been like a million by now..... Where is all this practise getting me? (J/k)

It's possible that this energy being is actually trying to help you project, which is why you might feel it so strongly. It could also be a family member, as I have on occasion been litterally pulled out backwards by the legs by family members during my meditation, before I even knew I was separated. You seem to sense a different energy than me, I guess thats why I'm so fascinated by this... The whole blood rushing thing seems incredibly sensitive... I have had feelings of static energy thru my body, and sometimes I feel my organs and heart really intensly, but never blood (yet).
I see energy, can manipulate it, and meditate to induce OBEs on a fairly regular basis... The experiences are so wild, intimate, connected, confusing, overwhelming, and thought-provolking. I am now: OBSESSED. It is a fact that OBEs are real, but HOW REAL?

Thank you guys! You are really helpful in all this! I actually just got off the phone with one of my friends who is going to visit the Askashik (sp) Library tonight. He's been doing this for years and he told me there is a store near where I live that actually sells books and "vibration stones" that you can put under your pillow to help you project...sounds a little farfetched to me but i'm willing to try anything at this point...at a reasonable cost of course. :3

Thank you again for all the help you have provided! I also just tried to project again and had the most intense vibrations from head to toe, my breathing would get lighter and I could almost feel my body lifting up. I tried to call on my "guide" because my friend said he called on his guide the first time and was literally ejected from his body. Any tips on how to call on guides?

Thanks,

Tanner

Well the lifting or floating of the body is actually an OBE. I am surprised that the experience didn't move past that... It is possible that by trying to call a guide, you actually inhibited the experience from happening in full effect. Try not to depend on guides to "pull you out" as that rarely happens, it is up to you to do things properly that work for you and depend on that, just know you can do it on your own. Just relax about it, and breathe deep, and meditate.

As far as contacting guides, you might actually have to project before you'll gain the benefits of that... Also, if your guide(s) havent come to you yet, I am unsure if you will be able to initiate first contact. Trying to do that without first having a connection will probably just manifest a being (still conscious), which could still be helpful. I just have a problem with the whole "guide" thing because every human that has ever come to me in my OBEs and truely helped me, I automatically assume is a guide and if that's true then I must have like a zillion of them now. I am also confused as to who is and isn't a guide, as they are all human-like. I used to assume my "dead" relatives and friends to be guides, and I guess they are in a sense.

I at one point was very interested in seeking a true guide, as I was unsure of how to determine who was a guide and whether this was actually a true spiritual connection to someone who is there to help you, always. I have doubts about this, because most of my guides (who were once strangers to me) seem to lose interest in me. But I guess that's because I'm not learning fast enough for them or something. My problem, once again. But there is always another way...

I was never a believer in goddesses until this specific experience where I really, really wanted a guide. At this point, I was learning how to manifest a cell phone in my pockets, which I would pick out, and place by my ear. I found that by doing this, I could clearly hear the person I was trying to contact, whether a friend or family, whomever. It got really profound to me, when I suddenly decided to contact this "god" character I heard so much about. I don't know how I connected to this person, but I just thought of the word God and tried to talk to God on the phone. Much to my surprise, a woman answered quite excitedly and shouted my name like she hadent talked to me in a while (infact, never) and this woman did eventually appear to me and introduce herself as Kelly, so that could be one way to find a guide, which has some sort of fantastic nature, rather then people you meet randomly or know as deceased. I also noticed that Kelly eventually stopped answering me. I then decided to contact "God" again on the phone, because that was the only way I was getting a response, and a different woman answered. They changed up on me, I found this wierd... she was much younger and her name was Angela, she appeared eventually, and that's all I have to say about that. ;)

WHOA! that's intense. I would like to talk to "God". When I achieve AP, first thing i'm doing is conjuring a congratulatory Astral cake. LOL

Then I want to go talk to my dead dog that recently passed. I want to know how she feels and how I can make her son happier. :)

Thanks for the help! :D

Your dog will come to you... I can guarantee it. Animals are very attached, and I have been able to talk to some... so I wish you luck with that! They do understand your language, as any animal lover usually talks to their dogs constantly. They understand you. Im sure they wish they could talk back. Astrally, that is your chance for very intimate communication.
