Title: having lots of trouble moving around
Post by: Targett on April 16, 2005, 06:48:00
Ive had 2 out of body experiences this last week and both of them seem to be very faint and frustrating,

I was just on the holosync and when it finished i dozed off to sleep and got into the sleeping paralysis state. I relaxed even more and the next thing i knew i was floating off to the left and i was in some room that seemed a bit like the room i was in but it was a bit different, i could have been in someone elses house i dunno.

I remember i couldnt move forward, I seen my door and was trying to calmly walk towards it (because when ever i move too fast in my obes my sight seems to fade) but it was like i was trying to walk in space, my feet would move but i would just be floating in the same place. I tryed to turn my head to look at the window but then my sight faded again, then i turned to look back at the door and my sight came back again just as it was before

I keep shooting off into the air in almost every obe ive had, (well im not sure if i really am but sure it feels like i do), and i get this humming sucking sound when i do move fast. It feels like i shoot off at bullet speed right into the air but when i try to look down my sight fades. In that obe i just had i could only move very fast, but not slowly

Ive find most of my obes very confusing and frustrating because they are very weak and faint and my sight tends to fade alot and i have alot of trouble controling myself in them. And when i get out of them the memory just fades within seconds. At the time i know im experiencing it  but the memory just fades soo fast its anoying.

I wonder if all my obes are really weak and faint because i always get them from the sleeping paralysis state. Im always asleep when they happen and the dreaming mind is still rolling. Maybe the random dreaming mind is over powering my mind in my astral body.

Ive had about 8-10 obes all together and the best one i had was the second, that was very clear and i had control of myself.

Im really trying my hardest to explain whats its like here but its just sooo hard to explain what these things are like.

Id really really appreciate it if anyone could reply or comment on some of these experiences and help me out. Does anyone else have any troubles like this?? why does my sight keep fading? how do you gain control of yourself? is there a way to empower them so theyre not soo faint and hard to remember??

Well a week or 2 ago my OBE's were similar to that.  It would take me a lot longer than normal to get out and when I got out I couldn't very well or my head would be droopy.

The solution for me was just more energy work on my legs to exit better(my legs were the main problem with my exit) and to move away from my body.  Once I am away from my body, I glance at my hands for a second and say a few times, "Clarity Now!!".  And that really fixed the problem for me.

The mind is a POWERFUL TOOL in the astral plane. If there is even the slightest doubt of you being able to move or function, then your doubts are manifested x 10. The stronger your mind is, the more can do. Overcome your fears then you will be able to overcome anything!                           Happy Astraling!

Yeah me also I had a similar experience today and I can not even tell if it was a dream or related to some kind of very weak OBE. I felt like a piece of rock that could not move at all!

thanks guys i really appreciate your comments :)

yeah i think experience will be a big help like most things.

i havent had another obe since but next time im going to make it my goal to leave my house. I remember i tryed to leave my house on my second ever obe by diving through the kitchen window but as soon as i got out i started raising up into the air and my sight faded, next second i was back in my body again.

Has anyone else ever had theyre astral sight fade or very faint?? its happened to me on every obe ive had so far :(

How can you tell if your in an astral realm instead of real time zone? whats the difference? i dont think ive been in an astral realm yet.

thx guys :)

Hi Targett

I have very similar problems to you.  My sight is a real bane – and it continues to be a problem even now, although I've had perfectly sighted OBEs in the meantime.   I've been totally blind, experienced tunnel vision, felt like I was wearing glasses that were smeared, only been able to see with one eye, and only been able to look in one direction.

I tell you what really helps.  When you stop thinking about it.  When you move away and be utterly determined that when you go through the next door/wall/window, you will see, no matter what.  And then you go through and remove all thoughts of non-sight.  Become engrossed in something else.  If you can't see, start touching things, or listening for sounds, and before you know it, you will be able to see.

Check out this FAQ – it might help – you never know.

You also might find that when you go through to another room, the room won't be the one you are expecting to be in, which can have the effect of shocking you back to the physical.  So have no expectations and just go with it.

The real time zone is generally a copy of your immediate surroundings.  There will be differences, such as the furniture might be in the wrong place and there'll be an extra window, but generally speaking, you recognise it as the room your physical body is lay in.

The astral realm is not familiar.  One way to get there is to go through that 'extra' window that's in your RTZ room.  Or create a doorway, or go through a picture on the wall, that kind of thing.

Good luck!

Sarah
