I was meditating today and I was in quite a deep trace, and I could hear what sounded like a woman trying to speak to me but it was in a different language so i couldn't understand, it sounded like Japanese to me, also just before the voices i saw a dragons eye opening does anyone have any idea what this means? :?
A ghost , or a memory from a past life , just guesses on my part .
Probably a hypnogogic trance. You can hear all sorts of things that are likely just produced by your brain; it is a similar effect to when you are drifting off to sleep, and end up in that twilight. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
You also have the potential to be clairaudient. I heard random voices before my gift developed just prior to my initiation. Sometimes you will hear voices in background sounds... furnace fans are great, but also running water, and wind work as well. focus on hearing the voices imbedded in these natural sounds if you want to develop the gift. Be aware though the first sounds and voices you will hear are begin generated by your mind. You also need to learn focus so that you don't face a constant barrage of noise. Learning to control the ability is just as important as it's development.
I wasn't always in a hypgogic state when I heard random voices initially. It was most often when working night shift.
I hear voices in meditation sometimes 2. I think it's part of the hypnogia state. If it was a guide they would tell you. And if you start seeing things your projecting. Just open your eyes and you'll see white light flashing every where. It happened to me a while ago when I was meditating. If it was another entity they would touch your hand and talk to you. Sounds weird but I had this happen after my aunt past away. Higher beings, you would here really beautiful angelic music. And they would teach you things. Hopefully this helps. It's what I expiernced so far in altered states of consciousness.
