Hello im new in this forum and also in OBE so i just have started to practice it but i cant even get the vibrations how long i should concantrate on relaxing?I just have been feel forehead with a handkerchief in mid-tickling and like fall down (im not shure with falling but i think it was like falling down) so if you can please say your technique how you succsesfully get into OBE.Sorry for my bad english and thank you for your patient.
A very effective technique for many people is to do some visualisation as you drift off to sleep. Imagine yourself walking around your bedroom and try to make it as real as possible. Pick up a few objects and examine them. Try to feel them in your hands. Run your hands over the walls or crouch down and feel the texture of the carpet. Use all your senses to feel your surroundings, and keep telling yourself that you are out of your body. You don't need to concentrate too hard on relaxing because this process in itself will relax you. Trying too hard to relax can have the opposite effect and may keep you awake, so just concentrate on experiencing your room, or even the whole house. Keep it up right up to the point of falling asleep. It make take a few attempts for this to work, but don't give up. If you keep it up it really does work. You may start to feel intense vibrations. If you do, just go with it and when they subside, pinch your nose shut and try to breathe. If you can breathe you're OBEing, and you can just roll out of your body.
This technique is much more effective if you do it after four or five hours sleep (in fact it's a good idea to do this whatever technique you are using), so you should set an alarm to wake you in the night.
Just remember that it's very important to carry the visualisations right up to the point of falling asleep.

I have experience getting upto the vibrations, like this...
1. Prepare your mind (Reading alot about other people's astral experiences will help)
Once in bed...
2. Start repeating in your mind "MIND AWAKE, BODY ASLEEP" (can be done in your native language)
3. Relax your body part by part
you will reach the vibrational stage soon (after falling almost asleep couple times, if done with a real need for projection!)
after that, you will need the guidance of the experts (me too! :-) )

my long description of the technique may have made it sound quite difficult, but it's actually pretty simple when you try it. Whatever method you choose though, you should bear in mind that they are all much more effective if you get a few hours sleep before you make your attempt. When you first fall asleep at night you are in deep sleep for a few hours, and it's unlikely that you will OBE in this phase of sleep. When your brain has had enough deep sleep, REM sleep phases become dominant and it's the perfect time to exit.
