As your next OBE ensues, mentally state the following:  "GUARDIANS PLEASE ATTEND ME."  You will be flanked by non-physical beings assigned to you.  Mine hail from Christendom since my Higher Power is Jesus Christ.  I infer the Hindu would get them through Lord Krishna and a Buddhist through Buddha and etc.  Like a Muslim would get them through Mohammad and Co.  I suppose a Jew would get them directly from God.  Folks who do not subscribe to a Spiritual Master (a Holy Avatar like Christ, Buddha, Krishna and etc.) would do well to call upon God Almighty directly.  The whole purpose behind deference to a Higher Power is so that we can benefit from their Legions once we leave our physical bodies.  The "out there" is a big place.  I would never think of going it alone.  So summon your Guardians.  That's what they're for.  I never leave home without them.  They ward off any malevolent comers for certain (my main objective by summoning them) and they protect me against all evil.  I realise we can't be harmed per se out of body, but we can certainly be horrified.  You are the willful Captain of your Soul, but it does not hurt to have a Seraph or two on board.  Guides is not a good word for them because they are not out to call the shots.  They are there to protect you along your willful path.  True will is ours and ours alone.  That's the crux.  Happy travels.

where can i find a lot of information on guides? do they come to you, do you have to ask for them, are they really just a part of you, can you pick them, etc.. ? this kind of stuff seems really interesting to me but i know squat about it..
