Just over 1 year. There was a bit of a break though in that first year because I got bored of failing. I did get vibrations and lucid dreams though which kept me interested and believing that OBEs could be real.

My first attempt was when I was 14, I tried for a few months, but got no results and lost interest...

Now I'm 21, and it took about 3 weeks before I got results...

In two months, I've had 5 spontaneous, conscious OBEs so far... It's only a matter of time before I have a wake-induced one!

ive been trying for about a week... i play boxed nirvana 2 and lisen to that bionary beat in the back ground... i concentrated on it for about 10 min befor all i got to was some tingling in my feet .... ive never been to the vibration stage... and when iam doing this... it seems like i can never fall asleep...

I can induce sleep-paralysis at will in the morning pretty easily. From there its easy.
