id say the sinking feeling  was  just  your  body relaxing,  its the only  thing i can relate to.

do/can  you meditate  zirules?

if  not  i  suggest  you focus  on learning how  to if  you want to project.  So try it and when  you can do it  incorporate it into your projection training.

thought and  thinking  are  detrimental  to  OBEing  as  you  are trying to  relax  your  mind/body.

the hardest  part for me is trying  not  to let the  hypnogogic  imagery and  sounds distract me,  as soon as i mentally comment on them they go.

Well, you where close, the sinking feeling ment that you where going it to that half asleep/half awake state wich is what is I deal for aping.[:)]

Zjrules, your job, if you should choose to accept it, is to RELAX.  "Doing" something will break the flow.  Relax yourself completely, allow the "drop and shake" to happen.  Imagine yourself floating out of your body.  Then, come back and tell us all about it!

You might have to practice several times before it works.  Don't let any botched attempts get you down, just keep working at it !!!

BTW, that "shake" might actually be projection vibrations.  Check out my essay, in the Vibrations section, and tell me if that's what you felt.

Like Tisha said, you gotta relax when your in the trance and the vibes start to come and they get intense with each breath relax. Try not to move or tense your muscles, and try yo keep breathing the way you where before, becuase if you get to overly excited the vibes will desipate.[:)][:P][:)]

i find the best way to get yourself relax is running because your body gets tried when you do exersies... you should run for about 20 mins that should make your tried

ty ya'll alot i'll try that.can people awake in the physical bodies see you in your astral body??? can 2 or more people do astral projection and see each other????sorry im asking to much questions im new at this.please help me out

from what I understand, no people can not see you while you are ap'ing.  Yes 2 people can ap, however I'm not sure if you will see eachother (tisha some help? [;)])  What you need to do is 1 thing at a time!  Do not get all caught up in the "is it possibles" untill you have AP'ed :)  The reason I say this is because you will become side tracked when trying to ap, the get frustrated and stop trying as hard. (this has happened to me!)  So good luck and happy travels!

I think everyone APs when they are sleeping-but most dont become conscious of it or simply dont remember-I personally always project from lucid dreams-like I am dreaming and something is out of place and makes me aware I am dreaming so than i know i can AP by will. It is like waking up inside of a dream-I have tried doing meditation and stuff and have had some OBEs where I have rolled out of my body-I would say-go to bed really tired (I dont know why but this seems to make it more likely) and dont eat for a few hours before going to sleep-when you are falling asleep be very quiet and focous your attention on feeling and hearing your body-your heartbeat-the breathing-also-I do pyhrannic breathing which is like yoga breathing-it works for me...

hi,

i was laying down and thinking about floating up,it didnt work.then  i started to get small vibes,then later on i had this feeling like i dropped down and shooked hard like a hard shake.
can someone please help me thank you for your time to help
