A sonic resonator would probably be easiest to build with a programming language on a computer. Specify the amplitude at every time to send to the sound card. You can connect the computer to an amplifier.

Something more to do is to download the WAVELAB software. WAVELAB is a software packet for to synthetize any waveform conceivable.
You can download it through an E-Mule server. E-Mule is a peer-to-peer client wich downloads tons and tons of high rank software.
