I've been reading a lot recently about aliens, extra-dimensional beings, theories of dimensions, higher brain wave freqs, meditation and articles about raising your frequency or vibrations.
Well some time ago, I had a thought and forgot about it until now. As I read, I learned that it helps to raise your vibrations or frequencies in order to achieve an OBE easier. I was also lead to believe that the so-called astral plane must be another dimension, the higher dimension. Now I am not talking about parallel universes or anything; just dimensions--x to x and y to x, y and z (our 3rd dimension) and so on (unknown since we physically exist in just 3 dimensions). So what is the astral plane, well I've heard the 4th dimension is the dimension of duration (time).
I've read a number of stories that people have noticed some things are different in their astral travels. Somethings missing or altered. Well maybe that person is entering a pocket of a different time?
Not a bad theory, right? I hope. :-D
You know, I always thought something similar to that, but I was thinking more along the lines of parallel universes. I don't fully understand the concept of them, but I've read enough to know that a lot of people believe that there are an infinite number of them and how they are different is determined by the choices/actions that we do or do not make. Like say for instance, I do not turn off my light, but in a parallel universe, maybe I left it on, and I think that I could have AP into that PU. From what I understand, there are parallel universes that only differ very slightly from ours, like perhaps, maybe the only difference is the color of my sheets, and then there are universes where everything is entirely opposite and totally bizarre. If there is an infinite number, then I guess everything anything that we think could be possible in an alternate universe. I can't remember that I have ever AP'd into a real time zone that had differed in the EXTREME from mine, and the only explanation that comes to mind is that we project (subconsciously) into a "comfortable" reality, where just about everything seems how it should be. Then I guess one would just have to practice projecting in their actual reality, to avoid all of the fluctuations, or try and explore the one you are in and note all of the differences that you could and compare. You could even practice projecting into other realties I guess, bizarre ones, who know? The possibilities are endless, or infinite, however you like to say it.
Ah yes, dotster! Good input. The astral plane could also link us to those alternate universes. That's what I am to believe is the 5th dimension. Read this ...

This video goes as far as the 10th dimension, but I know for sure I heard somewhere that there exists dimensions as high as 25th and probably higher according to extra-terrestrial/dimensional, alien knowledge. We all knowledge there is a lot more knowledge out there than what exists on this planet, so all this could be true or false.
This is probably what got me started on this idea, thinking about dimensions. I just realized that the 5th dimension a dimension that is alternate parallel universes--an infinite number of dimension of the 4th dimension (duration/time). According to some people we will shift to this dimensions passing through the 4th sometime near 2012. To me, that means we'll probably gain all the knowledge of all our parallel selves of each universe. We'd know the secrets of life and such. Sounds good to me, eh?
Has anyone ever heard of the book, The Gaia Project 2012, it seems very interesting. Some reviewers claim to be enlightened and their vibes raise higher as they read along. Anyway, I think this book would explain more about theories of 2012 and possibly earth's history, so I heard. I definitely plan on getting this book the next time I visit Barnes and Noble or Border's.
Anyway, that is just another little thought I had after starting this topic. My mind just keeps expanding into deeper thought.
