Trouble Seeing in OBEs

Who Am I

anyone has this problem?

Many of my OBEs go like this. I get into the vibrational stage OR straight go into a trance state where my body is already put under the paralysis (basically skips the vibrations), and then I CANNOT SEE! most times its pitch black, but this morning it was greyish white. I have seen maybe about 5%, if that. saw my astral hands and then nothing. had to feel my way through the room, before waking myself up multiple times cuz i get freaked out of thinking "what's there? is something gonna hurt me?" its kinda freaky. i am exploring by touch but its like being in a forest with eyes closed, dont you think? maybe not as bad since im in the astral and nothing can hurt me but still. its spookyish.

part of it is my fear. i am scared of having vivid obes say flying over earth. i mean, for all of you guys out there who never had OBEs and think that 'OH ITS SO AMAZING, YOU ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE THEM' think about it for a second. you go up in space in a spaceship and then someone pushes you out of the craft. would you be scared? now imagine having an OBE as clear as being out there in space. would you be scared? bonk yes! you'd be scared shitlessly of being physically damaged. so, even if you know youre astral traveling, the realness of the experience could be kinda overwhelming.

so, i dont know what to do. and i dont know how to get over my fear of these things either. anyone can relate, had similar experiences, know how to overcome them?

thanks.

It's simple, just go for it.It doesn't take long before you develop an 'astral personality', that's one where you are familiar with its ruleset. I suppose it would be similar to living in a forest for a month each year with nothing taken along with you. The rules for getting by are different from say city life. It's this sort of thing.
Too many miss out on a good experience through fear. It's fear thats stopping so much.
After all looking at it from the side of having absolutely no fear whatsoever in this art, I can see and also remember the limits fear throws up. The most simple cure was to stop thinking pathetic thoughts and REALISE its you scaring yourself.
Get this fixed in your head and go to the bottom of the deepest ocean trench or so far out in space that light can be seen from any star.
I did this before I was 9 years old. It's not hard

If you get scared and freak out... 99 times out of 100 you'll come back to the this physical focus.
You don't need to ever worry about not getting back.  You'll be frustrated more often than not with how short your projections will be.

What are you afraid of?  What do you think is going to happen to you?

You'll want to figure out what your fears are in regards to Projection, because they are what's going to stop you from learning it.
If your PTSD is going to get in the way of this... then perhaps you might want to look at getting that under control first.

Nothing scares me out there.
I made my fears dissapear a very long time ago.
After facing them head on, the fear of falling ect went too. It's replaced by a better understanding, you sort of know whats what.
I've been that far out, there were no stars at all, I wanted to see the big bang but that never came to pass. That's a lot of miles... Looking behind while travelling away the light cluster getting fainter and smaller, it looked the same as watching an old black and white TV like we had in the 1960's after switching it off. It eventually faded out and no zooming your vision could find it.
Totally surrounded by pure blackness, out on my own and knowing no-one could find me even if they wanted too.
Yep, it should have been scarey, that's if you only use physical world rules.
I used my understanding of the wider reality and knew I was safe.
Drop the physical world ties, they don't really matter. You can't fall if you know you can't.
You are what you think. :-D

What's the ABSOLUTE worst thing that could happen to you?
Or... what do you fear is the absolute worst thing that could happen to you?

Most people answer that with "I might die while projecting"...
Well, just for arguments sake, say that is true and that might happen while you're projecting...

... now accept it.  Truly accept it.  If the worst that could happen to you is that you die... and you've accepted the worst that can happen to you, what's left to fear?  You've already accepted the worst thing.  If you can not accept the worst thing you can possibly think of, then re-thinking what you're doing might be in your best interest.

I've had trouble "seeing" in the lower realms and in looking at the physical plane. Things occasionally are grey, foggy, lack definition. I have no idea why this is except that possibility I am at the upper limit of the vibrational range for that realm. Just a guess.

These are not places I am particularly interested so snapping back in body is just fine with me.

You really need to sit down and write down all the reasons you have fear in ob's...
But really...you have them, so there can't be THAT much fear ! Lots of people can't even get out due to fear....
Write the reasons down...then think about them, REALLY go through them and ask yourself if it really
is something to fear. Being in outer space and falling....if you KNOW you are out of body...and you have been out
before and returned safely before, then you should KNOW you will return safely again...right ?
If you have any control of your ob's...then tell yourself that you will stay in a safe place..like your room..then open you eyes...
progress from there.

Me..sometimes I'll know I'm out of body, and be so excited i'll not want to open my eyes all the way because sometimes I get TOO
excited and that makes me wake up ! So I wander around squinting !
