I've been interested in real time telepathy for some time now. People always say they are meeting or helping on the astral. My biggest interest at the moment is doing it on the physical. We need to find a way to join astral/physical experiences. Telepathy across physical boundaries is more appealing to me. My theory is that the astral is a dream world which makes existence possible in case the physical fails, people practicing projection are ensuring their afterlife in the "dream world", etc. However, someone, somewhere, sometime, has to anchor the astral back into the physical, when it is safe, which I believe is now the case.

Imagine someone on the astral trying to "physical project". IE a being who is spirit not incarne. She wants a physical experience but doesn't want the rigmarole of birth, etc. Enter, perceiving the astral while wide awake. (Dare I mention contexting again? )

Actually, this is a misconception.  You can visit anyone you want regardless.  All you have to do is enter the Phase and travel in that mental world.  I know this because I have visited people and the results were pretty interesting.  There seemed to be a strong indication of ESP.

Don't limit yourself with these erroneous ideas of "you can't do this" just because you believe there are two types of OOBEs.  Remember my first experience?  The one I thought was a Mode 1 OOBE (RTZ) where I saw a girl at my neighbours who actually turned out to exist?  I'm starting to think now that it was still a mental world where I saw what was on the minds of my neighbours i.e. they were probably thinking about that girl paying them a visit.  Thus, there may not be Mode 1 or Mode 2 (astral projection)...

Perhaps you always enter the same state of consciousness where anything can be perceived if you believe it's possible.  After some scientific research and looking at my own experiences I have to consider that there may in fact be just one type of state.
