Greetings ;o)
At the risk of making myself unpopular, I scanned through that question and the interesting answers proposed.
But I know that its far more simple than that.
Just ask.
Thats it simple.
All thought sent out to friends guides and helpers wether verbally or as thought or emotion are picked up and responded to in their own way.  :-)

Just ask thats all you have to do.

Peace.

Like they say "ask and you shall receive"!  :-)

The trick though is to be a good listener!

I'm developing a technique for use during SP state where I literally "listen" to them with my ear / cochlearis nerve / or brain or however, instead of telepathically. It's amazing if you really "hear" them in the literal sense. One told me her name recently.

Lately I have been practicing with my Laxman and my Binaural Beats/Isochronic Tones, whereas I turn the sound and the light itensity down as far as it goes, so I either see just a faint light in the distance or hear barely a sound. This has yielded fantastic results.

It really aides in developing a new depth of awareness!  :-)

Amen! But not to deter those who are expecting "direct voice communication"  :-D we often receive inspiration from our inspirers in subtle ways, while day dreaming, mediation, dreams, signposts in nature, synchronicity, symbols etc :o)

Awsome!, objective clairaudiance  :-) extremely powerful tool.
I tend to hear subjectively (in my mind) But I still recognise it as another minds stream of thought / words  :-)
