Right now I have a sprained ankle and my back has been a little achy and I find it
somewhat difficult to get comfortable in my bed, I think I need a new one.
after a while listening to some binaural beats laying down I can get pretty relaxed
but i think noticing my breathing too much is holding me back. My nose has small difficulties breathing
and I don't like having my mouth open (also feels difficult to relax my tongue and jaw) I just don't know what to do.
I have gotten to the point where I hardly notice myself breathing but then I end up
emphasizing my breathing.

I can get to a point where I have little tingling sensations (I think that is the right description) and have noticed my lower arms are numb, and yesterday listening to a
certain binaural beat I started getting some light visuals like light moving around in my eye lids a little but that is the furthest I have been. Also I have been practicing
mid day where I'm not really that tired but I have nothing else to do while I rest my ankle. I feels like my right eyelid keeps wanting to open sometimes, Its quite annoying.

How do I know when Im in the vibration stage? Does it feel very heavy? How do I relax enough to get there?
When I am there should I not be able to feel myself breathing anymore? what should my body be feeling like?

Thank you for feedback I really appreciate it.

Honestly?  "Relaxation" isn't so much about what you do... relaxation is a state of mind you're in.

You can have everything around you GOING GOING GOING GOING... and yet still be 100% relaxed.

And really, it's not something you can teach, you kind of have to discover it on your own.

I guess you could try starting with a progressive muscle relaxation, but that's physical relaxation and isn't quite the same, but it's at least a starting point for you.

What you do and don't do is not as much of a hurdle as thinking about if you are doing things right.

We usually create our own largest hurdles.

I hate noticing myself breathing. Or my heart beating. Because it makes me think about it. Just let your body do its thing and disconnect your thoughts. Easier said than done and I'm no pro, but if you pay attention to your breathing in order to notice when you can't hear it anymore, you might be there for a while.
Take to the sky, feeling so alive! Past the clouds to the Milky Way, share our secrets with the starry brigade. The stars surround us like a million fireflies. For once I see infinity... it's in your eyes.

Those are things that happen as your body is slowly shutting down and sensory input is slowing down. It's a good indicator you're going in the right direction, but it's really just starting. For myself, I had to do it consciously over and over, and little by little all of it starts to become very normal and you stop paying attention to it. Then you can go deeper and deeper with fewer distractions and enter a deep trance that you can project from. All I can say is don't get frustrated and keep practicing.

These are things you don't have to worry about. If you get vibrations (not everyone does), you'll know - they are unmistakable, and if you're not prepared for them, they'll surprise or scare the crap out of you. They are that intense. When you're ready to project you will know it. If you're questioning it, you're not there, and it can even end up being another interruption. Keep a passive frame of mind and let thoughts fall away, don't analyze them.
