Title: How do you know where you are?
Post by: Asi911 on April 08, 2010, 03:14:58
Hey guys!

There's something that keeps puzzling me and i hope you guys can help me find a solution:

How exactly do you know where you are?

I mean, When people say they are in "focus 22", or over the "belief systems", or in the "astral plane", "Pulse island" etc..
How do you know you are where you say you are?

Every projection I've had has always been different. Woke up in different spaces, different rule sets of environments. Even what seems to be the RTZ is different from projection to projection.

What's your indication?

Help will be appriciated!

Peace, love and thank you.

They're very distinct... when you're there you will *just know*.
But there are some distinctions which we can describe.

But it's mostly just about how consciously aware you are.

Focus 22 is where we dream and lucid dream... and the difference between those and an Astral Projection is that conscious awareness thing.
In a dream you have no conscious awareness... in a lucid dream you have some conscious awareness... but in a projection you fully know what you're doing and where you are.

The more awareness you have, and the greater control you can establish on your thoughts/emotions... then the higher you'll be able to go.

When I started out I would just write where I was, and then look it up.
However, some are obvious- the etheric/RTZ would be your bedroom or neighborhood.  Any place that doesn't exist IRL is probably an astral plane, but this can be hard to pinpoint- as I've gone to other countries and not realize it was an etheric projection, until someone else compared notes with me.
This is an oversimplification, but those two 'places' are the most commonly visited by people starting out (again, very debatable).
I never was able to memorize the focus levels, I just look them up according to my experiences.

I think that when you are a beginner your destination is going to be a bit sporadic.

In my opinion, the astral is like a collective unconscious, a truly non-physical "place", whereas the etheric/RTZ is a higher dimension.  Until you gain more energy and control it is difficult to control where you go.  When you end up in the RTZ and didn't plan to go there, I think you're more likely in between the 3rd and 4th dimensions (whatever you wanna call them, I don't know if dimension is entirely appropriate), perceiving it as a distinct place.  There may be existing locations within the astral, places that are kept in existence by the thoughts of beings that live there or elsewhere.  But the astral is subjective, which means that whatever is in your mind turns into your astral environment.  As you gain control you can make your mind clearer and clearer going into the projection.
