I want to believe!!!

So I have been messing around with OBE meditations for almost a year now. I have gotten the vibrations very easily, infact I got vibrations even before I knew what they were, or even what an AP was. I am an extremely open minded person, but still somewhat skeptical. Believe me, nothing would make me happier than to know that APing is possible, and I think it is, but I would still like to hear your opinions and arguments. The reason I am still questioning its existence is because I have never had one before, and am starting to give up on it. Any info/advice would be most appreciated.

I think we're all argumented out.

The fact that you had the infamous vibrations BEFORE you ever heard/read about what a OBE was, would be a big "hello" to me.  I'm thinkin you should go with that.... don't question your own mind or feelings for goodness sakes.   :dont-know:

Amigo, don't give up and keep trying. The phenomena is happening to almost all the guys in this board. Why would we be "making up stories" one to each other ?
Maybe you can believe that they are "just lucid dreams", but you can't say or believe that we are all hallucinating here
Keep reading, keep practicing. If you can't do it, maybe you will get (like me) some "free tickets" where it happens when I'm not trying at all
So, don't give up. That's my advice

Thanks, that's a good start, it helps motivate me a lot. But c'mon is that the best you've got? What if I was trying to prove it to someone else, what would I say to them? My most loved one is scared to death about, well, death. I wish she wasn't, but what can I say to make her feel better? You know, prove that it's real.

My friend, if you and/or your gf think it's unreal, there's no reason to be scared  
I really see no way to prove it to anyone else. TVOS has made a lot of experiments and some of them were correct. I don't see what kind of proof you are trying to get: even if I tell you (not true, just an example) that I saw the room of my brother in France and then when I went there it was the same room, you won't believe me

Words are not proof, that's why each and every one must do it and judge by his own experience But if you practice you will eventually get a projection. Why don't you download or buy the book Adventures Beyond the Body ? That's a good start if you don't want to read a lot of posts...

It could be real or in your imagination, we don't know, but theres lots of things that have been experienced in AP which matched to the physical world very closing. Anyways, AP is for your benifit, you can find many good things from it. So do you want it to be real or fake, I know I want it to be real and I beleive it is real.
