I happen to live in a certain African country. I see extremely idiotic individuals become rulers of countries. Those countries then decay like rotten apples. I see rulers of certain other African countries not lift a finger to help individuals in the decaying countries.
I see extreme poverty and all the crime and hellish conditions that go with it. I see infrastructure decaying. Adding technology to the mix doesn't make anything better. Dropping food from planes neither.
The spiritual shamanistic, ritualistic nomadic cultures are slowly giving in to western/modern materialistic cultural influences, causing the societies here to go backwards rather than forwards, unfortunately.
The point of this late night ramble? Generally speaking, Africa seems to be devolving. Sad, but true.
