Hi all.

Having never had a successful conscious projection or phasing attempt (The closest i have come is mild vibration feeling) i was wondering what peoples astral memories are like.

For example :

Say that i could have done one of two things last night. One was to sit up and play video games or watch films all night, the other was to astral project/Phase. My memory of playing games or watching films would have been pretty vivid and if asked a couple of weeks later i could probably recount quite a few of the details. How would that compare to memories obtained from a projection/phasing attempt.

Do they still feel like like a dream where you just had more control over it. Would it be cloudy and fragmented or perhaps require to be immediately written down in order to recall it later ?

markulous

When I wake up it feels like it was a dream.  I remember having the feeling that it was vivid, but I can't recall it vividly(if that makes sense).  So it kind of sucks when you try and think of what you did because it's a little hazy like recalling a dream.  And I do have pretty good memories when it comes to dreams or OBE's but if I write them down then I can always remember them.

My astral memories are as good as my memories of the day that just past.

And truthfully, I sometimes have days, where nothing great happens and I only remember things like, "went to the store, bought some food, rode my bike down the street.. some lady was crazy looking..etc..."

But then I sometimes have days that are memorable, " My old friend spontaneously called me, I found ten bucks in my pocket I thought I'd lost, I had an interview and got hired!, I saw a bird flying around in the super market, there was a car accident right in front of me.. etc."

So, the more aware I am durring the day durring each moment, is the better I will remember the day. And the clearer I am durring the day, and the better I remember it, is the clearer I am in the astral and the better I remember.

Tip:
At the end of the day, write in a journal about everything that happened from when you woke up untill how you are now writing about it. Write how you felt when you woke up and what you did next, how you felt at that, then what you did next, what happened after that...keep recording all events and espeacialy note changes of feelings.

Give your self at least 15 minutes of writing about the day.

This is going to train your subconscious to Have to remember events, and then Want to remember events.

This will quickly carry over into your astral events, feelings, and memories. Even just having a note book by your bedside with the set plan to write down you astral expereinces; this will also prepare and urge your subconscious mind to remember.

This works for me, so I wanted to share it with you.

have fun :-D

phitau

My memory is horrible. How can I improve this? Vitamins, Ginkgo Biloba, or just plain 'ol meditation? How about this, all three?! Ah, I might as well take GB since it helps fight Alzheimer's disease--it runs in my family, vitamins are always good and meditation is good, too! Eh, did I just answer my question?  8-)

Hmm, anyone have any other ideas?

Hve fun with working on memory. Like, Memory is a certaing muscle that you can work out. The more you excercise memmory, the stronger it gets.

Memorize a nice long poem.
Recite the alphabet backwards untill you can do it fast.
Memorize these #'s : 21744982236, and 9034965103 and 6338942175

Make flash cards and keep testing your memory.

Once you know that poem by heart, once you can recite the alphabet backwards and remember three sets of random groupings of digits,

then your memory will be so much stronger and your confidence of your memory will be so much stronger too. Soon you may have to try to stop yourself from 'showing  off' your memory skills to other people.

This will definently result in you remembering your astral experiences.

IMHO,
