damned elusive trance

   The other night, I once again tried to exit through pure conciousness exercises. I imagined myself on the ceiling looking down upon my body, after perhaps ten minutes I began to feel pretty strong exit sensations, not vibrations but quite a dizzy feeling, and a feeling of expanding to the periphery of my physical body, I was pushing out and felt congested.

   I think if i was in trance at this stage I would have easily projected. Which brings me back to my number one problem. I cannot attain trance. Gosh and darn it, I really really need to attain trance. Further to this, I do not want to use artificial methods such as hemi-sync or mind altering chemical substances.


     Any suggestions for really simple techniques?

i have this same problem all the time. one thing i do.. if i have time.. is set a couple alarms usually 15-30 minutes apart. luckily my cell phone has 3 alarms i can said ahead of time so i dont have to keep reseting it. so start out by relaxing 15-20 minutes before your first alarm.. or however long you think it will take to enter that state you were in feeling exit sensations. the first alarm should wake you up. oh and make sure you have your alarm as close to you as possible so all you have to do is move your arm and not the rest of your body. so after you turn off the first alarm go back into relaxing. it shuold be easier and faster now to reach the state you were in before. the next alarm should go off then repeat the relaxing step again and you should reach it really fast this time and be able to project.

this method works great for me at night or when im really tired. also over half of my projections arent even from the usual method oof relaxing and acheiving mind awake/body asleep.. it is actually from waking paralysis and projecting from that. i hope i have helped out a little bit? ha i've only projected about 35-40 times in the past year or so so im not too experienced yet and almost half of my attemps to prject fail. but those are my 2 best methods of acheiveing it.
