Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site and thought I would try posting my experience and see if any of you have ever had anything similar happen to you or have any insights on it.

About 6 years ago, I had a dream where I was walking down a road that had a river to one side with tall trees every couple of steps. As I was walking I heard gunshots behind me and turned back to see what was going on. I saw two groups of guys, one group wore bright yellow shirts and were running away from the second group who all wore bright red shirts. I saw that they were running towards me and I realised that I had better get out of the way so as to not be shot by a stray gunshot. I happened to look down as I was running and realised that I was wearing a bright yellow shirt myself! I remember that in my dreams I thought "OH great! Now they'll probably think I'm one of the first group and it won't be a stray bullet that will hit me!" I started running as fast as I could towards one of the nearest trees lining the road thinking to hide behind it. Then all of a sudden I felt a pain enter my shoulder and I went down face first skidding until I hit the tree that I had intended to hide behind. I realised that I was shot and the pain was like a fire eating my shoulder up. As I lay there in shock and pain, I could hear running footsteps that came up to me and halted right behind where I lay. Next thing I knew, there was a pop and I knew I had been shot in the head. I had a couple of seconds to regret wearing yellow and walking on that road on that particular night before I realised that I had popped out of my body and the pain was all gone. There was a sense of relief. I felt like I was light as a feather and knew I was dead, I thought briefly about my family...but then thought "They will be okay...life will go on." With that thought it was like I had let go and I saw myself being sucked into a tunnel. I came out of the end of the tunnel into soft misty light and the feeling of love and happiness was overwhelming. I was glad to be home! I probably only had that second to savor when I heard a loud booming voice saying "You don't belong here!" Next thing I knew, it was like I had been pushed back into that tunnel and I came to floating above my body but I was fighting with all my might to go back. I stayed like that ...fighting for a couple of minutes before I gave it up as futile and finally opened my eyes...back in bed. The dream was really vivid as you can see....I still remember it all after all these years. Also when I woke up, I had a fiery pain in my left shoulder and the back of my head felt sore. It took a couple of days for it to go away. Ever since then I have always wanted to find ways to go back and see what I missed and why I was kicked out.  :|

I have yet to astral project consciously or even have a dream as interesting as I did then, but I have gotten to the point where my body started to vibrate so hard that it is funny that the bed didn't shake and wake up my spouse!
I guess I got too interested in the vibrations and so nothing happened, or else I fainted...cause next thing I knew I was waking up in the morning with no memories of what happened after the vibrations.  :-(

I will keep trying though. I'm glad I found this site...I've been reading a lot of the postings on here and some I understand and others are over my head  :-P but all are interesting.

If anyone has any ideas on my dream please post...I'm open to all ideas and I am interested in what you think.

Welcome to the Astral Pulse! :)

Wow, that's cool. It sounds like something in yourself was trying to "wake you up" in your dream. Isn't it neat when a dream can influence your interests? It's good you founds us.

Hi Stookie,

Thank you and I'm glad to be where I'm at too. Isn't life interesting? I wonder what I would look like under a microscope...lol.  :-D
