I wouldn't do it that many times a day. Only when I go to bed or jjust wake up.
when i don't have school and am home alone i'm partial to trying 1-2 hour to two hour sessions during the middle of the day.
but due to my schedule that's like every other day.
With three kids, a hubby and household to run...I get..uh...never mind I am now depressed...[:(]

I usually try to OBE about twice a day usually about an hour and a half total. The 2 semi-successful attempts that I made happened after I woke up from sleep at about 4 AM and tried to go back to sleep, I highly recommend trying to do that as it raises the success rate significantly. It sounds to me like you're dedicated, if you feel yourself getting stuck in a rut unable to have an OBE it might be a good idea to give yourself a break. The first time I got heavy vibrations was when I gave up trying to have an OBE at all, if that hadn't happened I might not be here on this site today :)

Same here but when im home alone, I rather do other things. Astral stuff is a nightly thing for me.
I know a guy that does nothing but attempt astral (and is mostly successful) and write/revise his books. He doesnt do much else nor does he have the urge to. He is one of the best guy's I know and I havent met him in person yet. I talk to him on the phone and we share experiences.. the guy easily attempts astral 4x more than me especially since I only do it once every day and thats at night. The only other times I try is when I'm in a really bad moon , a really good mood , when I have to sort things out in life , or when something just tells me to. Doing it 4+ times a day isnt bad , its definately the best thing to be obsessed with in my opinion. I believe its our way to evolve as humans at least in this life so why not do it as often as you can. Your probably not frustrated , you might be on the lines of dedicated or obsessed, both are a good thing :) -- Enjoy!
When i have my good runs at least once a day. I haven't made any attempts since christmas though. I need to be motivated and i don't have that right now.
This question just occured to me as I'm about to go to bed for the night and as usual will try to fall into a OBE state. This will be my fourth attempt for the day, each lasting about an hour. The practice is helping, and I do feel like I'm getting closer, but it makes me wonder whether my attempt count indicates I'm obsessed, frustrated, or dedicated. I would be interested in knowing how many times other people make their attempts (esp on weekends when you don't have to go into work), and how many did they make before you achieved an exit.
