I have been interested in Astral Projection and Lucid dreaming for a couple of months now. i have been reading many books, videos, and guides about the subject and i have heard that Sleep Paralysis is one of the best ways to achieve an OBE. i wake up 4-6 hrs after sleep and try to go back to sleep. after about 10-15 mins, I'm in Sleep paralysis (can't move or talk, my eyes are closed). My question is: how do you Exit the body during SP? i tried the roll over technique but to no avail. my other question is can you turn partial paralysis into an OBE and if not how do you turn it into 100% Paralysis? any answers are welcome thanks.

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse, Sp3ctral Shadow!  :-)

Your answers lie in the many helpful Stickies that you find on this Forum.

They are the topics that are in Bold Blue letters.

Find a technique you like and begin to practice with it.

There's also an excellent technique that could be found right under this very thread here that you posted, it's on "the Sweet Spot".

You could start there if you wish!

You spiritually get out of your body.  It is like you are physically doing it but you are spiritually getting out of your body.  The faster you get out the better because it is a lot quicker.  You do not have to think of how you are doing it.

How is it going  Sp3ctral Sh4dow?  Is it working for me?  I would be interested to know.  Someone else has that problem.

I typed it again as the sentence was not quite right.  I did not check it.

Hello astralsuzy, thank you for asking. i finally had my first astral projection a couple weeks ago trying the sweet spot method! it was amazing to finally leave my body even though it was only for 5 mins (but it felt like an hour.). this is an amazing technique for beginners like me because its so simple.  :-D

I am glad it has worked for you Sp3ctral Sh4dow .  Thank you for letting me know about it.

You will probably disagree with me but I do not agree that you should be drowsy to ap.  If you are drowsy it is likely you will fall asleep.  It is better to stay awake and alert to ap.  You will be more alert in the astral and have more control at what you are doing.  Just my opinion.
