Do concussions/braindamage affect your ability to astral project?

Hi i'm arclight and I'm very intrigued by the topic of astral projection and i have had a few spontaneous ones before. However I've gotten 3-4 concussion this past year and I was wondering wether or not this would affect my ability to project since projection is practiced with your mind. Will I still be able to effectively project?

If you have had spontaneous OBEs it proves that having brain damage doesn't stop you from having them- but the question should be, does it stop you from experiencing them from an aware state.  Then I would ask you, does the brain damage prevent you from meditating, or from being aware just before you go to sleep?  If you can maintain some sort of awareness, then you might be able to project consciously.
BTW, we project 'with the mind', but then, we experience pretty much anything else with the mind also.
