Title: I can't get past sleep paralysis
Post by: dust8879 on April 17, 2014, 11:55:28
Last night at around 3 AM I kept repeating "I remain aware as I fall asleep". I got this from William Buhlman's book, and I'm shocked at how powerful these words are. I wasn't prepared. My whole body started tingling, and my ears felt like they became blocked, similar to when you're on a plane. Next I heard this whooshing wind sound, then it changed to a crackling sound. I remembered to try and surrender to it, and for 20 seconds I laid there feeling all this tingling, but nothing happened. I was still awake in the physical. This happened about 5 times in 45 minutes, and there was still no success. It wasn't a false awakening. I did reality checks. What should I do when I enter sleep paralysis? Do I try to imagine a scene, feel myself climbing up a rope, or observe images? Do I just do nothing?

When you get to the sleep paralysis and vibrational stage, that is the time you can not prepare your exit. The rope method seems easy bro.

You said by doing nothing did not work so do not do that.    Sometimes if I do nothing, the ap ends.    I have to try something else.   I spiritually move out of my body or I do an ap technique.    If I am doing an ap technique, I imagine that I am jumping, swimming, swinging or swimming underwater.    I would suggest you to try something that you think you would like to do.   Imagining a place should work as well.
That does not sound like sleep paralysis.   Sleep paralysis is when your body temporarily cannot move.

The body can always move. Your motor skills still work, just in a different way.
