I've never had an astral projection before, to my knowledge, and right now I'm still training toward that goal. Since I practice a lot, and maintain the perspective and attitude that I have, I have learned so much about (not just about the obstacles I've faced), but also about the little things that add to a better training/meditation experience. The Do's and Do Nots... things to observe... how they relate to you... and how to overcome them.

HI leviiathan,

Im sure your determination and good attitude toward learning how to project will pay-off. Happy traveling[:D]

In all my research, I find that there are no books or guides that sympathize with the problems experienced in AP Conditioning (i.e. we have authors and guide writers telling us theory, and the areas of Point A, and Point C, but they do not tell us entirely what the process is like in getting from Point A to Point C. Their techniques are based on the logic of "this works for me, and if you do this, it works for you to."

The sad reality is that things are easier said than done. They give you a technique, but tell you (only vaguely) how to apply it. It does not account for the fact that most of us guidance in putting it out into practice. If we didn't need guidance, then this forum would not be necessary.

True. A lot of getting from point A to point C is a personal experience which can vary amongst individuals. I guess it's up to the individual to explore the cause and effects of techniques and psychological states associated while doing the techniques that can be inhibiting him/her from accomplishing his/her goal.

Books are limited. There have been times when i had to do something differently than what the book instructed because my self was urging me to do so. Books are definitely no substitute for a good teacher or a close ear to the whispers of the higherself.

experience is the best teacher.  no matter what happens you are the only one that can actually help you because you are the only one that knows exactly what's going on.  ad is great and i wouldn't be where i am now, w/ my progress, w/out it but i've solved more problems myself than i have w/ the book.  not to discourage you from posting, but it's ver helpful to scrutinize everything you are doing at the time and find out exactly what is stopping you.  it's nice to have this forum here to help but if it weren't here and the resources we have available to us right now, weren't so available, there would be a different outlook on problems.

I love alstral dynamics. It's very inspirational, i read it right before i go to sleep and i helps me become more aware of astral experiences.

Several years ago i used to get spontanious astral projections within several minutes of going to bed. It got to the point where i was not happy with what was happening, because at times i just wanted to go to sleep, so i had to forget about consciously projecting. I think the spontanious projections happened as a result of being too ambitious and hasty in trying to do astral techniques. I would try to get into the trance state as fast as i could and for some reason i think it had some kind of snowball effect which resulted in spontanious AP when i wasn't trying to project, against my will.
Now after reading astral dynamics i am continuing my interest in AP with more confidence and feeling more cool headed about the whole thing.
