I've had quiet a few experiences but most of them have been sleep paralysis. On one occasion when I did manage to project I was taken to a crossroads near my home by someone who I didn't see but I could feel their presence behind me all the time. When I got there three other beings approached. They gave me a great feeling of joy and friendliness and it felt like I was meeting old friends. The thing is these beings were not in human form but more egg shaped or dome like balls of light. They had what seemed like long silver luminous strands running from top to bottom.Has anybody ever experienced anything like this or does anyone know what they might be.I can't seem to find any info anywhere about these type of entities whatever they might be.

Seems like familiar descriptions.  You should review the Carlos Castenado series of books.  Here is a list from Barnes and Nobles:

The Early Books is where he presents the best Knowledge.  The later books was his way of keeping up his boat and car payments.

So I recommend --

The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge

A Separate Reality: Further Conversations with Don Juan

Journey to Ixtlan: The Lessons of Don Juan
Carlos Castaneda

After awhile I stopped reading them.  It seemed they just kept getting further and further out there.

The early books are much more accessible, and describe the Egg Shaped Spirit Orbs you seem to be speaking of.

They were very interesting and I was thinking of ordering them myself for a re-read, except I am falling behind on my reading as it is.
