It all happen yesterday afternoon.  After eating a bowl of rice.  I felt really sleepy and my bed just keeps pulling me to sleep no matter how hard I tried to fight it.  It happen between 7-8 p.m.  I know because my wife told me that she gonna take a shower.  I'm not sure how I fell asleep because I don't remember closing my eyes.  All I know is I was lieing in bed and I couldn't move.  My first reaction was to start wiggling my toes.  Hoping that my wife would wake me up (I always tell her to wake me up if she sees me wiggling my toes because that is the time that I'm having a nightmare).  After 3 seconds of wiggling my toes.  I noticed that nobody was there to wake me up then I remeber that she was in the bathroom.  From that moment, instead of panicking.  I counted 1-3 then I started relaxing myself.  I noticed that I was floating a little bit.  Then I remember this website and the members that can't make the exit.  I was gonna try to climb a rope but I decided not to since I can't climb ropes in real life.  So what I did was roll-over ones then pushed myself out of my bed.  There I was floating in my room and feeling exited.  I know I didn't have no hands nor body but I can feel myself floating like a blimp.  I decided to float up some more so I can check what's happening in my living room.  My head was up to the ceiling and I noticed that I can't see properly.  I can see my room but it was blurry so I decided to go back to my body.  After going back to my body, I started wiggling my toes again then my wife woke me up.  I should've wrote what happened but I didn't and now i'm trying to remember why I was rushing to go back to my body.  Everything felt like a good 20 seconds.  Two problems that I had while obeing was I can't see properly and I can't control my float (direction where I wanted to go).

Maybe I was just imagining during my sleep paralysis that I'm really floating around my room because I didn't hear any sound or feel any vibration.  All I know was having a sleep paralysis but instead of feeling scared/struggling.  I just relaxed my body.

What do ya'll think of this experience? could it be an OBE or just a dream?

Maybe it was just a dream because after my wife woke me up.  I started thinking that an OBE would not be possible without using your imagination.

I think it was real, but the question is where was your consciousness and how accurate our your memories that you brought back with you?  I see a lot of common symptoms such as paralysis and floating.  Those are obe symptoms.  Since you are new at projecting, it could easily take a lot of projections before you'll be able to sync in on any group consciousness and accurately bring back the memories undistorted.  For some this only takes a few obe's, but with most people this will take about 5 years.  Don't be disappointed!  Just enjoy your creations of projections.  Even if they are your creations then it is still real.  For example, an advanced projector could travel to your lucid dream.  Yes, they can enter your dream because you are indeed creating it.  That world that you create will most likely vanish after you leave it.

Just enjoy it.  Soon or later you'll learn to focus in on a real group consciousness and sync it.  Then you'll be able to obtain self-proof.  BTW, you're right in that you should have wrote down the experience immediately.  Those memories are in part of your higher units.  If you want to try and remember them, then sit down, get comfortable, and meditate.  Slow down your feelings and thoughts.  Just slow and calm down.  Focus on one thing, but do not think about it.  That is, don't use your physical brain.  Just focus on something.  Ask yourself to bring forth your obe memories when you are ready.  So when you are in mediation, hopefully you will begin to recall your obe experience.

Peace,
Paul

nothing really happened.  I was just in my room floating.  Weird thing is I couldn't see well in my dreams because it was blurry/cloudy but I knew exactly where I was floating.  I know I didn't have hands when I pushed myself upwards (away from the body) but I still managed to do it.  I'm not sure why I decided to run back to my body but I remember me thinking about the cord (I was reading somewhere that you have this cord when you OBE) and i'm trying to figure out why I couldn't see properly but knew exactly where I was.  My mind was clear and I knew everything that happened when I woke up but I lost about 2 seconds memory of my dream.  Something happened (nothing scary), I was thinking of the cord and my sight then I just decided to go back to my body.

Whatever happened last night felt nice.  I felt really really light.  I know didn't have hands but it feels like I had an invisible hands.

This experience could just be my imagination because there's no way that something of me can leave my body and float like a blimp.  Nothing physical was done during my sleep paralysis.  Everything that I did or decided to do came right out of my mind and I was the one who decided to do it.  Blahhhhhhhh!!! I don't know to explain and I can't explain what happened or how it even happened.  Feels like i'm gonna go crazy because I keep thinking about what i've experienced and how I managed to move away from my physical body.

I'm gonna have to wait for my next sleep paralysis and I'll do the same.  Instead panicking.  I'll try to relax again, rollover then pushed myself out of the bed (upwards).  Hopefully next time I am able to see properly.  If it's blurry again then i'll have to imagine that I have night vision.
