Last night I predicted that it would be a very productive night for me due to the thunderstorm but I wasn't expecting nearly what I recieved. I had been having a dream much like I usually do and it seemed like my own version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre as a man was about to kill me for 'looking at him funny'.(For some reason I have the best results when I have a bad dream) Like usual I knew this was my que to come out of my dream and 'awaken' to take control of my dream. I decided I was going to go all out this time and instead of making him dissapear I was going to teach him a lesson for putting me through the living hell(or dreaming hell in this case) that he had. I jumped up screaming "NO!" as loud as I could and immediatly swung my fist directly towards his face and suddenly everything went black and I could feel the environment around me change. No longer was it cold, damp, and thick but very clear and free of movement. My entire body began to tingle and I felt my legs standing and I could identify each active muscle as I stood up. I knew instantly that I had gotten out of my body, it wasn't some big billboard saying "Welcome to OBE Land!", it wasn't some amazing force, it was just an immediate understanding as if everything I'd been trying to learn, and all the mysteries were simply...there. I took a few steps forward and I began to open my 'eyes' and at the time I didn't realize it but it was my old room from when I first moved to Florida. This is where things fell out, I immediatly thought that I was looking through my real eyes and that I had done something wrong, so I closed my 'eyes' and tried to open another set of eyes. (oops) This immediatly put me back in my body where I woke up back on my floor where I sleep each night. Although I would normally be dissapointed in my performance I'm rather proud of myself. That was the first time I'd actually stepped away from my body. I've began OBE's before but never successfully pulled away from my body. So, yay!?
