I have had wonderful interactions with my current living family members

Over the last couple of years I have had many out of body experiences, meeting quite a few wonderful beings, and actually conducting a healing, (not me). But recently, I've met my family members. Notably my immediate family, my mother, father, brother and sister, all who are still alive. I laughed with them and joked how I didn't think my sister would be with us as she is the only Orthodox christian among us. Also, I've been with my children who are being lovingly cared for  by wonderful Ladies in a lovely white mansion that seems to be like a school, with other children there. Even thought, I'm still concerned about when I'm not with them. (Seems normal as a parent). These out of body experiences to the spiritual realm seem just as real as if I'm awake. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am sleeping. Has anyone had similar experiences?

I see people who are alive and well all of the time. You can easily manifest people you are close to, and it might happen to you naturally. Many true entities "living" on the other side have shown me their abilities to manifest human-types as well, right in front of me. Also, I have succeeded in manifesting certain people who I knew were alive, and they acted very lively... Just something to think about. When you manifest something, they can seem conscious and talk with you... I would not underestimate that connection, whether it is your own subconscious manifesting the converstations with them, or whether you are actually communicating with their subconscious... the answer is up for grabs, just something to think about.

Thank you for replying spatialreason. Is there any way of knowing who it is that I am manifesting and who are true entities? I need to know. I asked one guy,"who are you and where am I, I think I know but I want you to tell me"... and he gave me a glare with these pearcing blue eyes, like, (wow, you are aware and I'm saying nothing), and didn't answer me. I still don't know where I stand, but it is all a learning field and I am very grateful for being there. Next time I go there I have a HEAP of questions...

I am amazed that someone is just as baffled by that question as I have been recently. Now, when I say "true" entities, that is just my spiritual opinion on the nature of the OBE... it does assume a few things that not everyone will agree with or understand (can anyone, really understand this stuff, concretely?)... everyones experiences seem so unique and personal. I've lately been questioning the nature of my OBEs, whether everything is infact a subconscious manifestation, or whether it is a mixture of spiritual realms which actually exist. Like you, I have a million questions, and with all of the ideas and crazy things (understatement) I've seen, especially in recent experience I am pretty easily distracted when my OBEs happens... and I must say, it's been happening to me a LOT, almost every night I have astral-like experiences. I will say I have a true OBEs in natural cycles it seems. I can feel and see my energy, especially at night... it is impossible for me to ignore, it's like purple, blue, red energy right in my vision... I started seeing energy probably about 3 or 4 years ago. I pretty much know exactly when it is optimal for me to meditate and work on transcending. Anyways, I'm getting off topic, but I think it's because I really haven't the slightest idea how to tell the difference between manifestations and conscious beings - this is SUCH a great question. I'm starting to come to the conclusion that I must, for my own spiritual growth, assume that every entity (manifested or not) has some level of consciousness, whether it's connected to the actual person you're perceiving, or all consciousness in general (probably a better lesson i've learned)...
