hey everyone, well I had some sort of new experience last night, so here's how I remember it:

I was about to get into a nightmare, probably because my friends and I watched the exorcist last night, not a very good idea if you're practicing to get an OBE or AP. While watching it I had a thought comming to my mind all the time "I'm not going to try today, not even practice" lol, freaky movie, anyway continuing to my dream, I felt something bad, as if a "negative" entity was in my room, I was about to freak out, so I sat down, but then I saw myself asleep in bed and forgot the whole thing of the entity, there was actually a weird feeling when I sat down, I saw some sort of sparkling, then I was in my backyard and willed myself to enter my house (because my room is actually out of the house across the backyard) and so I was watching my parents and they were awake, which I thought was pretty weird at the moment because they were supposed to be sleeping, although it didn't seem like it was night, suddenly my mom was able to see me, that's when I realized it wasn't a real OBE, but I couldn't get totally aware of it, she insisted to go to my room, I was trying to stop her because then she would wake me up and I would return to my physical body, then I don't know exactly when another dream started.

The thing is, even though I realized that it wasn't a real OBE, especially when I woke up and remembered the whole thing, I don't know why I was kind of excited, I felt like I had just taken a step foward and that my practicing is working little by little, also because I can recall my dreams better everyday, ever since I started practicing I haven't had a day without remembering my dreams, actually at the beginning I had an awesome lucid dream, I haven't had one like that in years!

Just wanted to share that new experience with you and I really hope that's a good sign.

Best wishes to all,

Lili

You must trust your feelings, and if you feel that you have taken a step toward progress, you probably have. I feel that you had a lucid dream or at least a very clear and vivid dream.

Anyway, I remember that the Exorcist had a similar effect on me. The book scared me more than the movie did; and as long as I had the book in my room, I couldn't sleep in peace. I expected the demon to rise up from it any moment. I was very happy when I finally returned it to the library.

In my opinion I definitely see progress from your experience. I remember i was not able to remember any dreams before I started my journey and now I have had many lucid dreams where I was able to control what I was doing.

Good luck

yeah, I'm definitely never going to read the book, the movie scares me enough! lol, I had the same feeling with a book that seemed interesting to me, but it was also about the occult, demons, possesions, etc. so I had to take it out of my room so that I could have a nice sleep.

yes they're getting much better, I also keep a journal, that's really helpfull, at first I didn't believe it would be that effective, but I can see results now, I working on getting better on controling them not only being aware of it.

Thanks a lot for your advices! I really appreciate them.

yeah thats a step forward lee

yeah i dont watch horrors anymore cause i feel as if something bads waiting to get me when i sleep but mainly because horrors intent is to put fear in you and fear stops projection

i mean a horror once in a while aint bad though

but

(regualry horrors = fear) fear = no projectin lol

but the exorcists is really scary i think the exercism of emeily rose is scary

yeap, everytime my friends want to see a horror movie I tell them I'm trying to keep my "inner peace" hahaha

I watched emily rose and yes, it's pretty scary, specially the scene in the barn =X.

I wouldn't let the fact that your parents saw you get in the way of thinking you had an OBE. Not all projections are to the RTZ. One of my first OBE's consisted of me having a short convo with my mom. I think the fact that you "willed" yourself and had the mind to compare what you were viewing with how things should be (ie. your parents awake when they should be sleeping) are strong indicators that you had an OBE.

That's a good point! maybe it was, well I hope to have one of those again soon  :-D
