I'm having alot of trouble

Alright I've been trying to astral project for about 5 months now practicing a lot and I'm having lots of trouble ive got to the part of mass body vibrations and ive got to the part were i can fool my mind into thinking thinks i lay in my bed when i project and i can illusion my mind in to thinking my bed is spinning shaking or slanting to a side.

but i cant get the full out of body experience.
I've used many many different songs to help you relax.
I've mediated before trying to project nothing.

can anyone give me any advice or help on why i cant project.


I've done lots of research I've also heard sitting in a chair can help for your first time didn't help me any :/

and I'm not afraid and I'm always confident Idk whats stopping me.


any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Your broken foot would only be an impediment if it was taking your focus.

If it causes you pain, or causes you to in any way connect to your physical body, then yes; otherwise no.

Projection is about dissociation from your physical form and its sensations, so that is the way to answer that question.

What time do you practice? For beginners, right after you wake up, or wake up too early is perfect, because your mind is already 80% there, and it only takes a little relaxation.

Hey noob. You ever think what happens when you're finally able to and 20 years later you can't stop it even when you want to? Sometimes I wish it was hard for me like it is for you. I'm jealous. Anyway, it's like peeing when you don't need to, you just do it. You shift you focus to your genitals, you close you eyes, find where the pee is, and "just do it".

For you this is what I would recommend. Find your focus technique in order to pop out when you have the vibrations. Trying anything before or after you have your vibrations will not result in you popping out, but they may cause the vibrations that will enable you to pop out. So your focus technique is the thing you do in the middle of the storm. The first thing is to make sure your vibrations are powerful enough. They have to be so intense that it's hard for you to concentrate, as if you're literally in the middle of a storm. If they're not that strong you need to focus on them and will them to be stronger and stronger. When you reach they're peak point you need to exit or they'll go away and at that point no sense trying anymore for 24 hours.

If you can reach peak point in the vibrational storm you have a few seconds to exit using your focus technique. You won't have time to imagine yourself climbing a rope or whatever, it's too complicated and requires too much mental stability (which you won't have). What you need to to do is instead focus on a FEELING or SOUND -- don't visualize anything. When I say focus read MAKE MORE POWERFUL OR INTENSE. If their is nothing you notice then create it... for a FEELING try just feeling falling, remember what it feels like to be weightless in an elevator; for a SOUND trying creating a high pitch ringing noise and making it louder and louder following it wherever it goes. If all else fails start willing yourself with all your might to press out of your body. Sometimes just making your vibrations more and more intense will cause you to pop out.

Anyway, as soon as your out (and you might not even know it) you need to run (even if you can't see) away from your body AND within 5 seconds or less return. Don't spend time exploring. As SOON as you're out you MUST return within seconds. You may end up losing the projection and falling asleep if you don't. I can't repeat this enough, remember it and follow it. Good luck.

Thats kind of strange.. Im trying to project also and havnt broken threw yet, the more strange part is i also have a broken foot... :|

Yes it's my right foot broke it jumping a creek out in the woods slipped in mud and my body's weight went to my foot trying to stabilize myself I broke my second third and forth bones leading to
My toes. Now I'm in a brace for 6/8 weeks.

Ah devo ye i broke my right foot on impact bailing off my moto on a jump about 2 months ago now, broke it in 8 places :/
I get my cast off in 2 days THANK FERK! not fun hahah, if it didn't happen i wouldn't be into all this tho so its kind of good haha :p

I tried again today just got mass body
Vibrations and then they stopped

I had 3 but never could push myself out.

How intense are they? When they start happening if they're tolerable try increasing them, if they're like a storm then your sole focus has to be getting out. You can try your body awareness exercises at this point if you're having difficulty (feeling your double body bounce up and down and around) then focus all your emotional energy on bouncing up or down and never returning. You can also try sitting up, you have to will it so hard that you might actually sit out of bed and break the trance (it happens). Try to notice a ringing noise in your ears and follow it making it bigger. Try to feel your body rolling over on your stomach.

Things to do to increase your odds:
- Whenever you're on an elevator going up or down pay close attention to how it feels.
- Take a mental snap shot of everything on your desk, close your eyes and try to recreate it, when you open your eyes see what you missed
- Listen to classical music and try to differentiate each instrument.
- Read stories about people having OBEs (Robert Monroe's books I've found are great)
- Work with the NEW energy ways by Robert Bruce or any exercise to improve your body awareness. For example the avatar new power ritual.

I am beginning the New Avatar Power Ritual. I call on the Inner Planes to witness. I state my purpose thus: ANKAR YOD HAY VAW HAY.
I begin to wind down, to let go and be rid of all the tensions of my body. To let my muscles relax, unwind and let go.
The tensions are beginning to drain from my body. Soon, a gradual heaviness will start to weigh down my thighs, my arms, my hands, my feet, my legs, my body.
My muscles unwind and let go. All my muscles are relaxing, unwinding, and relaxing.
Very soon I shall feel the winding, the letting go. Unwinding and letting go. Unwinding, letting go. Unwinding. Letting Go.
Deeper and deeper...letting go...unwinding and letting go.
The tensions drain from my muscles and they will soon become loose, letting go, relaxing and unwinding.
Breathing easily and deeply. Easily and deeply.
Unwinding and letting go...drifting into the peace and serenity of complete relaxation. And as my body unwinds and relaxes so I enter the peace and quiet, where only these words have meaning, and nothing else disturbs me.
Letting go..unwinding...letting go...unwinding...relax...relax...relax...let go...let go...let go...relax...relax...relax...let go...let go...let go.
I call on Thee, Mighty Arzel, who stands in the East, to assist me this and all my ventures. I know now that New Avatar Power is flooding to the surface. I now close my eyes gently.

You might not be relaxed enough... when I first started doing this I did have to force myself out, later I realized I could just "ride the vibrations" out and didn't have to do anything but stay calm and follow the vibes, become one with them, let them fill my being, etc. The first time I actually felt physical pain from my attempt, as if something popped in my spine, even when I returned it hurt. After that though it was much much much easier to exit. Maybe some people have an astral hymen.

If all else fails try pumping all the energy you have into exiting, as if God has come down and tapped you on the shoulder to fight Satan in the final army. Can you raise the fortress of your soul into the depths of the sun with all your rage pouring out all your being and every part of you to exit?

These vibrations you get should feel like this freaky vibration waves of energy coming from head to toe or vice versa through your entire body they should be very intense and freak you out the first time it happened. Just to make sure we're on the same page. They last for about 15 seconds or so.

Having the EXACT same problem man!
This morning i had the MOST intense whole body vibes it felt incredible i felt so energized like i was gonna explode haha, My heart was about to jump out my chest, lasted for easy 15 secs i think longer, I had my breathing sweet was taking nice deep breaths and felt much easier this time to breath cuz i relaxed a lot more, then i said to myself 'take me I'm ready' and they got more intense, then they just hung around buzzing i felt like i was sinking threw the couch but then it just dwindled back down to nothing by heart rate dropped dramatically and it was all over :/ This also happened another 2 times but i couldn't get the vibes back as strong... Then i gave up an went and had some breaky, slightly ticked off i might add as i didn't no what i did wrong... I didn't try sitting up as this was happening.. I reckon if i did that it would of just wrecked it all... i dunno... :S Ill give it a go next time i guess..

You guys need to stop putting so much pressure on yourselves.

Believe it or not you are progressing by leaps and bounds.

You are experiencing all the sign posts and confronting them head on. This is incredible progress.

What's the rush? Just keep practicing, it will come!  :-)

There have been many members here that say it has taken them years before they had their first experience.

You also need to sort of drop your expectations because they will be holding you back.

No... the best analogy is that it's like a polaroid photograph slowly coming into being... it just sort of 'happens'. Like you are pushing your eyes through a black mist into a bright High Definition scene.

Even that isn't an apt description.

You won't get anywhere until you learn to calm down. Every time you get excited, you will kill whatever it is you have achieved. You need to open yourself up to it, to SURRENDER and ALLOW what happens to happen. You can't force it!

You are using your non physical eyes, per say.

When I am in the NPR, I am seeing from a point of view. I can see 360 degrees around me,  because I know I don't have body.

I am just pure consciousness.

There's no need for a physical body in the NPR and in such, no need for physical eyes!  :-)

Lionheart, I am calm when it comes time to AP, I just get exited talking about it on here haha(I'm a very exited person) I do get little exited when i get vibes but I'm learning to control those feelings lately as i keep progressing without a brake "THROUGH"  ;) 

Ill get there, i have faith not long now :)

Yeah for real you guys are doing awesome... think about that most people in life never even get to experience the vibrations. Oh and your heart isn't beating very fast (been there too) even though it feels like it is, it's actually your heart chakra opening up and activating.

The first few times I exited I couldn't see. The first time I thought I was still in my body and literally thought that a ghost had picked up my real life body and was floating me 5 feet above my bed. I of course was scared out of my mind and "woke up" under the covers.

You both will probably break through within a month. It took me years from when I picked up a book on OBEs to when I popped out. What kept me going was everything that I was told would happen did happen, so all this crazy stuff seemed possible, maybe they weren't lying to me after all. I committed to myself that even if it took me ten years I wouldn't give up. And eventually I did, after many years it's super easy even though I must say I had the hardest time learning and still haven't gotten use to it.

Since you're both so close to exiting some advice...

You will likely feel like you're going to die. A panic sets in just before you exit and you may try your hardest to "wake up" and not die. Even though you can tell yourself that you want this and you're not afraid you're never prepared for it when it happens. To think of it like a dream or a fantasy is a big mistake. You might think you know what it will feel like but you don't. It feels as real as this does now. It's more real than real. Before you do this know that you will not die from this, that many have done it before you. Accept that should you die that it would be worth it for the truth. Really think about that to the point where if you do feel like you're going to die that you will not panic. Fear can hold you back years.

It's best if you get over it quickly and never take month long breaks. Eventually you will automatically do it on a daily basis with little effort, so long as you don't abort the projections night after night. Doing this will set you back years. If you can get over the fear and keep with it you can do what I couldn't do for so long.

And remember!

1) Run away from your body even if you think you're still in your body, until you can see.
2) Stay out only for a few seconds!
3) Get up immediately after returning and stay up for at least 5 minutes.

This could be minimized with a mass meditation before any forthcoming 'high level' meetings if the hate continues.

Right you run away to see better, but it also might help to keep you out, if you stay too close to your body it's also possible you will snap back. Staying out only for a few seconds the first time you do it is just a safety measure. If you stay out more than a few seconds you have chance of 1) freaking out 2) drifting off into the projection and having it become a dream where you go to sleep and by the time you wake up you won't remember it or remember it as a dream 3) the more real it will be remembered since your memory shuts off in this state. You don't have to do this, just a suggestion. The reason why you get up and stay up for at least 5 minutes upon returning is so you don't drift to sleep. I normally project against my will as I'm trying to sleep, when I come back I might wake up for a few seconds and think "Wow that was awesome." but I go to sleep. In the morning sometimes I'll forget about the entire thing. However, if I *force* myself to get out of bed and walk around for 5 minutes it allows me to recall the event and store it into memory.

 I just recently made this thread a sticky. I don't know why it wasn't before. It is excellent and has great information for newcomers.

This was created by a valuable member named Personalreality, who has many great posts to be found on this forum.

It's basically known as a "not" method. But it works extremely well!  :wink:
