I need someone experienced to tell me whats happening to me*PLEASE

 :? Ok so I've been try to prject for about 2 weeks. I had no results the first week except for deep relaxation. Then there was one night that I felt tingly all over (uncomfortably) like if you fall asleep on your arm and it gets all tingly..but alll over my body, in me too.  Then I started to see weird things, I saw the lights and weird stuff and then i felt like my entire vision was consumed by black, it felt like the black was wrapping around my head and i could see it, but i don't know how it was like i had 360* vision. The whole time this was happening there was super loud high pitched buzzing. I figured this was the time to get out of my body, I didn't panic i tried to climb "the rope" then I think I felt me "going out" or soemthign and i got totalyl scared... like i missed my body, I was sad to leave it. It was almost like a friend to me or soemthing. So anyway of course becuase I got scared I didnt make it out. And it was my fault for being scared,  >>> a couple nights ago i was trying again and didnt get anywhere near that, no visions, no buzzing, no tingling but i felt like i was rocking yet my body was still.? what was that>>>> last night I was trying again, I got closer, I kept feeling a weird sensation in my arm... like my arm was going through my arm??? i dunno how to explain. But i get picturing my physical body, with light energy rising from it (my astral) I felt weird, it felt like  i was pushed up against myself, but I know i wasn't out. Then I felt my "mind" (that you would picture to be behind your face) come up and like almost merge with my face, like i felt like my face was trying to get through my face. I feel like a crazy person trying to explain what i felt lol. I would muster all my energy to try to rise and i would get EXHAUSTED Like i just lifted wieghts. Then i would give my self a break and it would feel like I sunk completely back into myslef. Oh and when i feel pushed up against myself i can barely breath, its soooo shallow, i feel like gasping for air, but i cant, i dont. So then I was guna give up and let my self go to bed, so i opened my eyes... and my ceiling looked fuzzy and my ceiling fan seemed like it was getting closer to me. then i freaked out becuase I thoguht i was gunna get chopped up by my ceiling fan even tho it was off, and i wasnt out of my body anyway. It was weird. And my muscles alll hurt, like i pulled a muscle. PLEASE HELP. am I tricking myself into thinking im close? Or am I really close?? And If I am close then what can I do to help myslef go all the way. Im so sorry this was so long, i got carried away>>>> oh i just remebrd I had an intense uncomfortable throbbing between my eyebrows, it kinda hurt  alittle. It felt like I had a weight there like pulsating.

Your experiences are completely within normal limits so keep up the good work.  Do energy work, relaxation, meditation, perhaps a nice soothing (ha!) cup of ayahuasca...things of that nature.  Work on staying calm when the vibes come.  You're on the right track so keep up the good work and don't get discouraged.

I can't say I know what's happening to you. There's a lot of sensations assosiated with astral projection, and people experience them differently. The high pitched buzzing you mentioned sounds like the vibrational stage, which often comes prior to projecting, which means you are close :) And even though it can be quite scary, it is perfectly harmless. And don't be upset with yourself for getting scared, it is normal, but if you keep going you'll learn that there is nothing fear. The throbbing between your eyebrows could be your third eye ( 6th chakra) being active.

Try to stay both concentrated and relaxed when practicing astral projection, and practice it as often as you can. Even though you're not getting out, you're still building up concentration which is the one thing (besides your body being asleep) you need to project. It also helps to build your concentration by concentrating on the things you do throughout the day, like focusing on one thing at the time. If you feel your getting close to leaving your body, you can perhaps try to calmly roll out of your bed, or just get up. Or if you don't want to break that nice feeling of being relaxed, you can try to push your hand through your mattress. If it goes through you've split from your body :P

Use a technique that you like, relax, stay calm and experiment with the astral and ways to get you there. The best of luck to you!  :lol:

Thanks for the reasurance. It really helps alot, it just makes me feel not so alone. So Ive heard about the silver cord and stuff. But today my mom said that one of her friend's instructor said that you should only do it while being supervised, becuase there is a chance that while you are out of you body, some one else can possess it. and you will be stuck out in the astral world? :( My first thought was that it was a load of $h!+ , But now I'm really scared and don't know if I should stop trying.

It seems to me you are trying to hard...so much that you are straining yourself.
Definately Keep it relaxed...its hard to want to mentally move withouth physically tensing your muscles, however....practice :)

I do not think anything can possess you while you're out of body. We leave our bodies every night when we go to sleep, and that is perfectly safe. The only difference between that and out of body experience is that with OBE you're conscious in the astral, so you're not dreaming.

The astral is safe, a lot safer than the physical world, because you're not in your physical body and therefore cannot be harmed. I hope you find strength to keep on trying :)

In some books you're adviced to create some protective shield around your body when you astrally project. In others you are taught to creat some astral animals which will guard your body until you're back. You'll read a lot more on these tricks... even to light up a candle, to surround yourself with salt or to invoke some help from the upper.

My advice would be just to be relaxed and not to worry about such things. If you have a possitive attitude you'll have no trouble.

Your ego is constantly being bombarded with messages designed to control it (politicians, ads,...) and that doesn't mean you go nuts (though some will do, for sure  :roll:).

Your possitive attitude is your best charm.
