I saw my deceased dog while OBE

So this happened a couple of months ago.  I had a very vivid OBE where I found myself shooting up into the sky, I didn't mind it because it felt really good but at the same time I remembered I wanted to ask some things.  The first thing I asked was to see my deceased dog that had been gone for some years already but it was my first dog so I always had him in my mind.  Anyways once I asked and while shooting up in the air the figure began to appear and then a dog figure and finally I saw it was my dog in front of me and again as I was going up in the air.  It was like a reflection, he looked at me with peaceful eyes and the moved his head to the side and faded away. 

Did I just created him because I wanted to see him or do you think it was actually my dog.  Once he was gone I went back to my physical body, I still ask myself was it really him or was it my creation to satisfy a question?

I'm not experienced enough but I would certainly love to see my past animals. I would have 5 cats to visit and 3 dogs:)

I didn't ask, but I did consciously stumble upon my recently passed dog.  It was really nice to see him again.

I had a close pet die next to me too. I saw my deceased gold fish while in a OBE. He looked at me and said blub, blub, blub. LOL just kidding I couldn't resist the joke. All respect to you, your dog and the astral mcdwg. I know it can be hard.

No one could tell you whether you really saw your dog or not.   I have come to the conclusion that we could always be saying did we really see that person or animal?    Now I think I probably did.   You could try to see your pet again.    I recently lost my cat and it makes me feel sad.   I think I saw her but I was not that aware.   I have to get that awareness first then I will try to see my cat again.    I could never be 100 percent certain that it will be my cat.   I have to accept it and think I really did see her otherwise I will always be thinking did I see my pet or not?

Well, in my case particularly, even if it wasn't Mikey, it acted like him and felt like him.  When I say felt, I mean I grabbed his head and petted him like crazy... exactly like the physical thing.
And he looked great too!  Which is nice, because he wasn't doing so well when it ended.  :/

I shall always keep that memory of meeting him again... and I know I'll see him again too.

That is wonderful to hear Xanth.   It gives hope to everyone.   I am looking forward seeing my cat.   The last few mornings I fell asleep.   I will keep trying

I saw my cat who passed away last year in 3 NPE's.

The first time, I rose up when I got the vibrations, and when I looked to my side, I noticed a square hole in the wall. Thinking "hey, that looks familiar" I floated through it and found myself standing on the kitchen floor. And there he was in all his wonderfullness, walking to the kitchen door towards the garden. I've never had any trouble with emotions in the NP prior to this one but I fell on my knees crying my eyeballs out and I petted him like crazy. Feeling his fur again was amazing. I don't think this experience lasted more than 30s. Luckily, when I got back in my body I still felt the vibrations and willed myself out again. Found myself in the kitchen again, but facing in another direction. He was just standing in front of me this time and I picked him up. Holding him against my chest while he was repositioning himself....heh...(eyes getting watery at the moment). Again, a 30s experience tops.

These two exp happened a few months ago.
In both cases I wasn't intending to see him btw, well, at least not conciously I guess

And last week I saw him again with intent this time. He was laying on his side in the living room stretching, with his front legs pressing against his body (I'm sure you know that stretch). Tried petting him but he wasn't in the mood
