I think i might just had my first obe...

i woke up at around 9.30, went to pee, went back to sleep. started doing deep breathing and fell asleep eventually. next thing i remember is lifting my hands up in front of me and i could see them although they were see through plasma like. had the same contours as my real arms and hands though. remember touching my arms to see if i had sensation and i did. tried getting out of my body, dont really remember how, maybe rope method, remember trying to roll out too, not sure about the chronology. but i recall the feeling when i separated, and i thought to myself wow this time its for real. this followed by a few  moments of confusion where i couldnt see properly, it was like when u look cross eyed at things, and i dunno if this was because i couldnt really keep my real eyes open or what, but it was difficult to get orientated, i thought i was somewhere but i was somewhere else (in my room). i didnt see anything at all at times, it was as if my eyes were closed. i felt like i was floating around randomly in the room, and once when i "opened" my eyes i saw my room as if i was up in the top right corner in some odd upsidedown sideways position. im not sure when but i know i went back into my body, remembering that one should keep their first time short. i could feel it when i went back into my body. then i came out again and i decided to try to go through walls or fly, and to see what my roomate was doing to find some evidence, i was kinda excited at this point, but things became more like a dream and i thought i dreamt this part when i woke up, but i went into the bathroom and my friend was taking a shower, and i watched her for a while. it looked like she looked straight at me a few times so i got scared and went back. she had taken a shower the night before so i found it odd that she showered again this morning, so i wrote it off as a dream, but this morning she told me she had indeed taken a shower.. so i dunno what to think, imean it could just be a coincidence. i doubt i heard her though and made it all up cause i slept with earplugs. so what do you think, obe or just a vivid dream?

Sounds like an OBE to me, maybe a little lucid dreaming here and there. Very familiar stuff. Next time, maybe get some lights on earlier and try to remember certain details of  distant surroundings. Takes awhile sometimes when you get back to sort out the whole thing and remembering those details can help. Best of luck.

it happened again. i was sleeping next to my boyfriend when i "realised" i was paralysed and couldnt move. i lifted my left arm and again i saw the plasma like hand like last time. i tried lifing my other arm too but it looked like it was my real arm so i think i had one astral arm and one real arm waving around. i touched my bfs tummy and i asked him if he felt it this morning but he said no, but then again he was asleep when i did it. i remember sitting up, and i tried to turn around to look if my body was there but i couldnt turn fully, maybe i didnt want to see, it kinda freaks me out. the thing that makes me wonder though is that although the surroundings were accurate, there were details such as the colour of my bfs top, and the fact that i saw my rings on my fingers on my astral hand, although i wasnt wearing any (and why would they be on my astral hand anyway). so was it a dream this time or is it possible for obes and dreams to mix and produce semi accurate expereinces? im not sure what to think about all this.

The colour spectrum you see with your physical eyes is one of a very limited one, it is known there are other spectrum's, such as ultraviolet, infrared etc, keep that in mind, what we perceive in the physical is not what is the full picture, as for your non physical replica hand, I can only say, thought equals action.

According to my experiences with AP (I've had 5-6 complete exits) you have achieved an actual AP.  During my first exit, I also found myself hovering awkwardly in my bedroom, I looked down at myself and my gf sleeping in our bed.  Movement was not easy, almost clumsy...and when I started going, it was hard to stop, I would kind of randomly slide through the walls.  
I know exactly what you mean when you say things become "dreamlike" I HATE THAT....I have been trying SO hard to be able to confirm my experiences, and I am sure that they are AP because every time I manage to do it, it's exactly like what I've read about (first I get into the 3D blackness, then paralysis starting from legs, then with any luck, the vibrations-loud ones! then I'm out) same way, every time.  The only thing that bothers me is that there are some aspects from  the physical world, and then there's those "dreamlike" things that happen.  Once I was making an attempt in my parents guest bedroom, and my parents were out front with 2 other guests, I was able to exit, went through the wall and "flew" right through both of my parents, trying to get a reaction out of them, I reentered and realized that the guests were still sitting out there with my parents...but in my AP there were no guests with them??? I became so frustrated...How could that be??? Are we actually projecting within our minds??? I never seem to be able to find a consistent explanation about this, everyone seems to have their own take on it.

An experience only you can discern with you rown personal proof, but it might well not have been in your head. A lot of us have had that happen. The 2 guests may have been there, just not when you were. In true AP, there's a funny line in space/time that we cross occasionally, and time can be irrelevant. Keep pluggin'.

mthorn25 i did not experience any vibrations though, i just lifted my arms up, and i felt me leaving my body and reentering it. also, has anyone else experienced tha plasma like looking astral arms?
