astral projection or a lucid dream?

Be also aware that OBEs can turn into dreams if your awareness fades (which is a reason why it is good advice to keep projections short, especially in the beginning).

hello is was kindof wondering what happend to me a while back. i was laying in my bed trying to have an obe practising a technique, i dont remember what it was though. anyway normally i get all the wierd sensations and stuff but this time it was like a rocket. i just kinda took off in a blur of colors and a roar of sound and then it stoped. and i was back in my hometown of detroit michigan. (about 2 weeks prior to this experiance i moved too north carolina). at the time i thought it was another lucid dream, because my whole family for some reason gets them naturally but it felt somwhat different, i was just wondering if anyone here could tell if i had some kind of astral projection, lucid dream, or something else that i dont know about.
