Title: im a beginner...help please?
Post by: orion22 on May 16, 2006, 18:39:29
hello! well, im new at this whole "OBE" stuff, and i think i need a little help...
a little while ago i was laying down meditating, and i got really far in meditating, i could feel these vibrations throughout my body, they werent super strong, but i could definetly feel them. then i sort of kept "choking" like my body was making me swallow, but that only happend about 3 times. my body was pretty numb, and i was cold and still vibrating a little,
but for the life of me, i cannot figure out this "move without moving" thing! i cant seem to get out of my body,

i tried the feeling like im sinking, which doesnt really work, i cant visualize things very well... and when i try and 'move my hands without moving', all i do is move my physical hands! what am i doing wrong here? was i even in deep enough trance? was i even close? can someone help me, please?    i'd really appreciate any helpful information anyone can give me!

Hi. :)

Well, I'm new too, or at least attempt-wise. (I prefer to read up alot on anything before trying it)

And you're definitely close, or closer than I've ever been.

What you need to do now is concentrate really hard on the vibrations, and increase the frequency of them, until you're paralized. (Don't worry!) You should know when you are, too.

Then, try moving small parts of your body, like your fingers. If your physical fingers are moving, stop moving them!
Go back to vibes, focus on them hard, don't give up, and you'll eventually be paralized enough to roll, summersault, pull, fall, stand, sit right out of your body. :)
