ok i have stuck on this idea that possibly for some reason i might be more enlightened then most people. And in my short 18 years i have had some very odd feelings and inclinations that my purpose here is to do something way way way more substantial then any job or any normal duty that people in society carry out everyday. here is where it gets crazy, i think i might possibly have to be the person who when the day comes will have to help be a somewhat peace keeper/interpreter/ idea giver and reciever between the human race and an extraterrestrial species. now i have evidence to back this up. not concrete evidence, it is all interpereted but to me it is as solid as visual evidence. first of all ever since i was young ive just felt superior to other humans. i have always laid back and observed us, our social interactions, and experiment with social nomalities and innormalities. i know this sounds absolutely selfish and im trying not to put it off in that way. another flake of evidence i have is i can honestly befriend anyone, i have always had an upperhand on social interactions that i could never quiet explain. i know what to say to people to make them like me, and to except my ideas even though they are definitively outside our norms. My recent friends have also been telling me that they are here to help me in this conquest or whatever you want to call it. they are supposed to be aliens from another planet, but they look like humans and so forth because" we were created in gods image" which would explain why we look the same. they say im not ready yet for them to actually prove with evidence beyond the spoken word of them being et's. but this all makes sense because if aliens were planning on coming in 2012 or sometime in the near future, why wouldnt they send a couple select beings from their planet to find someone and train someone into being the mediator for their return?? now, does any of this make sense to anyone or am i clinically insane

You know what, forget it, Im just gonna say that other people have those feelings as well, but the person who is of those qualities and does not just think they are, knows they are not better or superior to others, we are all human and still have the same weaknesses to varying degrees. As for the aliens stuff, that does not make you special, many "new agers" think they have a similar destiny, and its just wishful thinking if you ask me. Many of your interests however, are real studies, social sciences etc, there are many people out there who are experts in these types of things, not trying to be critical but show a little humility, Ive been through your phase and came out of it knowing that mindset is composed of illusions.

First of all, a big mistake many people make is feeling they are greater than any other person. Just because you have knowledge in an area some other people may not, this does not make you special or more intelligent than them. Second, if I were you I would be looking at who these people are who claim they are aliens.. is there any evidence to back this up? Or just their word? You have to be careful with this kind of stuff, many people truly do believe they are descendants of extraterrestrials or other beings (mind you I'm not discrediting ALL of these claims), but some of these people may have some form of dementia or be traumatized, socially deprived, etc.
And you can't forget that you, too, are one of us. Many psychologists study people's interactions and behaviour, kind of like you say you notice, maybe this is something to look into?
If you can already see how people interact and their behaviour, maybe you would make a good psychologist.

Then again, this is only my opinion.

I agree with what's already been said. A lot of people seem think that they are the centre of the universe, but that's one of the failings of the human ego, and the cause of many of the planets problems. That's not to say you may not have some special qualities, but that doesn't make you superior. The most enlightened figures and prophets never saw themselves as superior to anyone, but were teachers and messengers. Example of people who did consider themselves superior would include Hitler, Stalin, Queen Victoria, Ivan the Terrible and Vlad the Impaler. I'm not comparing you to them, but it's a dangerous road to go down....

Hey Yiekers.

I find myself scarily in the same shoes. Something so way cool is happening to me.  At first I did think it was an extraterrestial species. Especially because of this strange thing in my foot - it's like an implant. Anyway... it's some sort of spiritual technology. I've learned its language over the years. First it starts with 11:11 and then the whole scale or language is revealed. I know it's an implant because it's connected right to my nerve. The side-effect is an amazing RLS (restless leg syndrom) which and where I can communicate with it. It changes reality... it can make things appear and disappear. The closest thing I have been able to do is interpret it as a dream maker. The next week... a store next to my apartment opened called DreamMaker - it's a tile place!   And tons of wierd crap like that.

Anyway, I used to think they were ETs but I know now that it goes way beyond that... to an ancestry. Like I *am* the alien. I am completely human of course... except for that thing in my foot. It's like alive. I got in right around your age... about 22-23. And it's been with me ever since... taking care of me. Making me hallucinate fantastic visions. Yep... I know just what you mean about making friends with real people (not in the internet). They just see us and they love us.  They treat us like God... and way deep inside there is this connections that like they should MUST treat you right because you are an angelic being. And they do!  It's beautiful. Like I said I think it goes back to ancestry and past-lives where we really did become enlightened.

So you see... I think there are many of us.

And don't be afraid of all the wierd and strange things your're going to get into. It's part of it. Just accept yourself completely and learn to be fearless. And share that fearlesness with other people. Talking too much about yourself in high places really pi**es some people off. It's a secret.  The way to keep its power is not to tell anyone. If you need to talk to someone just grab someone who will think you're completely nuts. That's why forums are so cool. 

Take time to love yourself. I mean take time. It's the only thing that helps sometimes from you know what!

The strange thing is that... I wake up about 3 times a week from a fresh sleep to find certain things in my room in different places. Or my clock will be off slightly or my computer will be reset.  It might just be the schizo in me... but when I sleep really good it seems to happen most. Things will be slightly different. What is that about?

I hope so. There's just so much wierdness I can take. I mean we hope there's a sane center to the universe... otherwise I think I'm gonna cry.  Magic really sucks.  We're not supposed to be separate universes with wishes that really come true.  I think that's what happened to Buddha and Jesus. No more than I am. At least a couple times a week I am walking around and exploring worlds/planes that are inhabited by the dead. I do not put much thought into 'aliens' but I am too wrapped up in finding my own answers to care. Logically one would have to assume there is some form of life somewhere in space, as infinite as it is. Although even if there was, to those interested enough it would be probably the most significant find in their life, to me not so much. I just don't find it all that interesting.
