Title: Improving distorted vision
Post by: LoLmart on November 19, 2012, 04:40:45
I learned this little trick the last time I had an AP. We all know that often when you exit your body you have distorted or partial vision and you have to improve it. Zooming in on your hands or other objects helps as many people know. Touching also helps. However, what I find to be a good little tip is to close the astral eye that has the more-distorted vision (the eye that is less opened) and zoom in with your other astral eye that sees a little better. When you do this you will usually fix your vision fully and you will be able to open the other eye without any following distortion. I think that when you just exit your body and try to force your astral eye that has the worse vision to actually open - you often get a screwed vision that transfers to your other astral eye and you are taken back to your body. It is almost like waking up too early in the morning and your eyes are itchy and you can't open both of them so you just look through the one that is less itchy. If you try to open your other eye - it just gets super itchy and you have to close it until you splash some water on it or something. Try it and tell me if it works for you.

Very good tips, indeed!
But consider for a second what all of those things are doing... Don't just go through the motions, figure out WHY they work.

What you're doing in each room f your tips is focusing your awareness as much as you can within the reality you're experiencing in order to "firm"  it up.

You can take this knowledge now and use it without the tools to make it effective all the time.

I was once given a strange 'astral seeing' hat by a mystical fellow in one experience that allowed my vision and focus to be better. However the second time I tried it failed. I spent the next few experiences having more problems with my vision.

Guess I didn't fully believe it the second time because the mystical guy wasn't present.

What is curious... is that my nonphysical vision was never a problem until I read about it being a problem 17 or so years later when I got the internet.

I haven't encountered problems with my vision before... But maybe I will now that I read about it, haha.
